Hi,
I'd like to buy a new battery for my ZTE Blade, can anyone post a reliable vendor ?
I'm interested in as big capacity as possible.
Thanks.
Mugen do very good batteries.

+1 for Mugen
Thanks, are there by chance bigger cells than 1400mAh ?
I haven't found any.
I got myself a spare battery from ebay.
It was identical to my original battery and was less than £8.

i've been searching for a 1350 ma battery for my topaz when i suddenly found out that the 1350 mah battery looks exactly like our 1100 mah battery
does this mean that if i by the hero's 1350 mah it will fit in our topaz
anyone?
do you think it will work??
check the photos, you will see that it even has the same part number

I am currently using an after market 1340mAh battery in my TD2.
Bought from ebay and lasts slightly longer (given my usage) as the stock battery.
thanks
thanks for your reply
did you have to change the back cover for the new battery or it's as the same size as the stock one?
thanks

The battery I got is a perfect fit (I did originally wonder if the capacity was indeed 1340mAh) with the stock back.
I have tried an original Hero battery (1350mAh) and it's a tight fit, but, you can get it in there!!!!!
Awesome

That really is an impossible question to answer as there is so much affecting different peoples usage and the ROM.
However, the battery I got does give improved usage time and if I had to put a figure on it I would say 15% improvement.

Just saw a 2700mAh battery on eBay for @20.00 with shipping, and there are plenty of 2200mAh batteries being auctioned specifically for the PURE/TOPAZ/DIAMOND2. Does that help?
wanted help
what would help is if someone who already has a topaz , bought a hero battery and try to fit it in our topaz devices
two questions, will it fit and the back cover will be closed
and if so , what will this battery deliver in performance?
still waiting for replies
thank you all
I think that the batteries are not same thickness, I don't think that you can use Hero's battery to TD2
I think I mentioned that I am running an after market hero replacement battery and had also tried the original hero battery???????????
Do you guys read the previous posts?
And I gave an appraisal of performance.
thanks
i know that, what i mean is that we can use more opinions and information about hero's battery life in diamond 2
but that does not mean that yours are not helpful , on the contrary it was great and thanks so much for it

I don't have a hero battery, just tried it for fit, so the answer is an after market 1349 mAh item. No name!
The link has an illustration.
I buyed this 1480 mAh battery from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.it/HTC-BATTERIA-148...QptZAccessori_per_palmari?hash=item2c51eb7bdc
the seller told me that fits perfect in our Diamond2; when it will arrive, I tell you my impression...
Hero battery for the Topaz
I have bought an Hero battery 1550 mah. It fits in the length and width. The thickness is a little more 2 mm.
It is possible to close the cover. It is a little tight.
I can not tell you now if the battery is running longer. I will notify you later in this threat.
I have bought the battery here:https://www.batteryupgrade.com/shopBrowser.php#/assortmentProductId/72162062/shopGroupId/60141010
The battery is send from Honkong. I lasted about 7 day's. including the hollyday's. The price is 24,49 euro.
greetings Wout
why didn't you try buying it from htc agent in your country, how much is the original battery is $
waiting for your feedback on the battery
thanks
I just tried my friend's Hero Battery and it works. Shows up as 1350 mah, but sadly it is a very tight fit. I can only get 1 side to click in and the other side of the battery cover has a gap. I believe if I sand down the battery cover I might be able to get it to fit. I'll post more once I get some tools to sand down the battery cover.
What's up there? We need info & extrapower to feed our topaz guyz
Is it affirmative to use Hero's original battery or not ?
Replacement battery from Cameron seems as positive, right ?
I don't want to replace the cover however - got invisible shield on it.

Recommendations?
I recommend a Mugen 2600mah battery off ebay. I have one and you can leave it one for several days without fail.

Hey,
I was trawling the internet for some cheap extended batteries. (my only other experience with them was the official HTC one for the HD2).
I heard someone saying that there is a good 3500mah one going on Amazon for £11. I'm presuming he meant this as it is the first result: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ecell-3500M...A9ZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333452409&sr=8-1
After a quick search on ebay I found the same battery for £5.99! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3500mah-H...ltDomain_3&hash=item256aa12a8e#ht_2235wt_1024
But is it any good? Has anyone had any prior experience with unbranded batteries?
Thanks,
Louis
never go for it, no use, this are fake chinese battery, i got one for evo 4g. it was told to be 3500 but it was not even 1000 mah.

That is usually true for the batteries that sit inside the original casing, but not the extended ones?
I am saying abt extended one, same battery which you are asking for.

I got this on amazon and has been doing calibration with the battery monitor widget and its calibrating out to at least 2500mah. One peculiar thing is the first 40% or so drop by very fast, but then from 50-30 percent it last a lot longer, this has been notice by another poster also. the battery door is also decent, first generation soft touch rubber coating type material and not as ugly as the Seidio door

You buy many spare batteries for the amount an original battery costs. One spare battery made in China is about € 2,50.
What the real capacity is doesn't matter, as long it does it job as spare battery, you can always order a second one.
Also would it be better to buy the 3500mah and use that as primary. or buy something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805
And use it as a secondary battery? Which would provide the best overall battery life?
Thanks,
Louis

that is hard to say, because everybody usage pattern is different, but even if its only 2500mah it still comes to 50% more capacity then the stock 1700mah.
Last night charge cycle adjust it to about 2700 mah, I don't think its settle down yet, seem the more charge history the widget collect the more accurate the calibration should be.

Thats true. But, seriously i was not happy with the backup it provides. It was 50% of the oem.
as in for spare this is great. you can also try anker one, its great and cheap.
btw, it was about extended.

I can get 4 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805 for the same price as the Anker?
Guys dont trust some of these batteries. I bought a few of these similar type batteries cause they were really cheap 2 for $9.99 with charger. This has been discussed to death already. I bought another set of 3x + 1 charger. They didnt last long at all. I peeled the stickers on all of them at they were all had 1000mah stamped on it but the sticker says 1800mah. This has been pointed out here before too. It was a complete waste of time and a hassle trying to get my $ back. Seller didnt bother taking the batteries back. For the total of $20 I spent and headache I couldve just bought and anker or chichitec. Which I did. I bought 2x 1900mah anker + charger for 24.99 a while back and they have been great. Been using them for 10 months now and last slightly longer than stock. I will look for the thread so you guys can do some reading but it did get pretty lengthy. Spend the extra $5 or even $10 and dont go for these cheap batteries.
Here's the thread. Take time to read it and it may be worth your trouble later down the road.

I am in search of a new battery and I came across a 3000 mAH battery that doesn't require an extended battery case. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-7v-BH6X-R...cement-For-Motorola-MB860-ME860-/271036164752
http://www.amazon.com/3000mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-Replacement-Motorola/dp/B008VO07AA
From reading, it seems like you have to calibrate the Atrix to understand the new battery through a couple charges and configuration changes; cool. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with THIS battery? Is it legit?

It's the same size at the standard battery
It's double the capacity

Well in e-bay I buy this battery http://www.ebay.com/itm/2430MAH-HIG...844826?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f1e183dda and it was quiet good for one day, after one day it was dead the battery board was dead and I replace it whit old battery board so I don't think it is real.
I think the picture says it all. Not quite sure why someone would even bother considering a battery with such almost offensively unrealistic specs.
To store more current, the battery has to be physically bigger. It's why "D" cell batteries are bigger than "A" cell batteries even though they have the same voltage output.
Think of current as water. Can you fit more water in a bucket if it's the same size as the one you have?

I had bad experience with several extended batteries from ebay. I always prefer to buy an extra regular battery instead of having an extended battery.
good afternoon guys
of you wanted to know if these Chinese batteries (2000mah or 3400 mah) are really good?
because our original is 1650mAh and finishes very fast, it will be with some of these Chinese improves?
someone here uses?
anxious for the answer. hugs
Bit of a lottery. Some people seem to have good experiences with them, others not. Only way to find out is to try yourself; see if you can get one with the ability to get a refund if you don't like it (which is what I did).
Edit to clarify - My experience was a negative one - 3rd party battery was nowhere near rated capacity, and suffered significant overheating issues when charging, hence I got a refund. Other posters are on the money, 2000mAh Samsung battery is the go.
You must buy only original samsung battery 2000mah . It will give you best result compare to stock one
