Hello,
I need some immidiate help I think. So the problem:
During the installation of Invisible shield I managed to make leave some of my finger skin to the sticky side (due my sick skin).. So..is there some way to clean the sticky side or this shield is gone ?
As far as I know that shield is ruined, anything that will get rid of the mark will also prob ruin the shield, prob best to herbs new one I'm afraid, or just do without, I found they made the screen very unresponsive anyway

hello. I just applied my invisible shield last night on my touch hd. The problem is, there are these lines of microbubbles and i cannot squegee them out. Is there anyway to get rid of them? all help is appreciated
If you look at the instructions it says that they go themselves in a few days of use.
well that is a given. but i want to know from someone who actually used it and has actually seen it. not from instructions lol
They will go away if they are not to big. I've had some bubbles on the back and on the screen, but they were gone after a week.
omg, that is a real relief. tyvm. i was so worried when i saw all the bubbles on my touch hd. i was like ITS RUINED! XD
i dont like the invisible shield but im tryin to give it a chance. I put it on friday and i could barely slide it into the pouch the HD came with. I tried to be very careful putting it on but i messed up an will be contacting zagg for a replacement. I took all the shields off except for the screen an the small one for the camera.
Hi,
The screen from my X10 has a scratch, what is really ugly i personally think.
Can i simply remove it and replace it with a new one?

Sure you can, but don't you have a screen protector on it? Even the stock unit shipped from SE has a protector applied.
If not it might be worth trying to buff the scratch out.
Okey, so how can i buff it out?
Or otherwise, where can I get a new screen. Trough the official channels of SE?
hi guys, i do have the same problem.. people have been saying there is a screen protector applied on the x10 since it was done from the factory.. however, is kinda hard to remove the 'screen protector' applied by SE. I can see from the edges there should really be a protector, but I just couldnt remove it. please help
SE did a really good job placing the screen protector film. It's nearly undetectable. Simply pry open one of the edges and get it open. It is hard at first, but you'll get it open.
I guess you need to use some sharp thing to pull it off from one of its edges. After that, it will be easy to remove it the whole way.
Hi, this is strange questions, but id really like to know:
Does my phone have a screen protector? It kind of looks like it does, but i cant seem to take it off (tried lifting the edge with my fingernail).
I just want to make sure i have a screen protector and im not going to scratch my screen.
Anyone with a X10 that doesnt have a screen protector - or someone who installed one themselves, please have a quick look at my uploaded pic to compare.
I cant post links yet...

Im trying to instal a mirror protector - how do you remove a screen protector? It seems like its really stuck on for good!?!

I removed the screen protector the second day I had my X10. I don't need it coz it's scratch resistant. Three months later it is still scratch-less and the screen is in pristine condition...
thanks, but HOW did you remove the screen protector?
Hey guys, I am about to buy (probably) the Invisible Shield for my X10i.
Would You say it's a buy worth buying? ^^
Cheers, Little

Yes!!!!! Ive always wanted one and apparently they are the best protectors for phones, which covers the whole phone and not just the screen, so yeah definitely a must get
It's totally worth it. I have had mine for about 3 months and not a single scratch has appear on my screen. It's very resistant, and doesn't take away screen sensitivity, though it leaves a rubbery feeling on the screen that you might or might not like.
But be careful when applying, read the steps and don't rush the process, you wouldn't want to have specks or particles that create bubbles in the future. The film is reapply able though.
Thanks so much for a quick response!
Ordered it after reading Ur opinnions- should ship in max 2 days!
Don't forget to remove the screen protector that comes applied from the factory. It's almost invisible to see, but is there, you wouldn't want to have 2 screen protectors there, dulling the touch screen.
Ok, will remember to check for any extra foil! Thx for advice

Had one of those but couldn't use it for more than 10 days.
The good - really protects the phone.
The bad - hard to apply + dust and fiber magnet.
The reason why I stripped it away was that around every border of the parts sticked to the phone there were always fibers from my trousers and dust.

Same here, stripped it down for the same reason. The product itself is fine though.
had one myself and it definitely seems to do what it says on the tin and plus theres the lifetime warranty where you can get a replacement for just a few dollars for postage.
I ruined mine unfortunately though by attempting to wash it and accidentally used boiling water. doh!
Have now replaced it with a cheapo screen protected from amazon and its nowhere near as good. Wont be getting another invisible shield for my x10 - but i still might consider getting them for future phones.
It really makes me sad when I get a scratch on the screen of my lovely SGS2. I do have a few surface scratches which are totally natural when it comes to wear and tear but this time I got a single scratch that is VERY evident.
So I'm wondering, is there any way of getting rid of it (new screen (if so links), technique, etc) or do I just brush it off my shoulder and deal with it?
I have applied a screen protector to ensure no further scratching but yeah, any help will be appreciated and I will thank good and valuable advice.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry, I don't think you can get scratches out of your phone!
I have one on my screen and have tried by brushing it several times and it just does not work.
I'm wondering whether you can buy a new screen for the I9100..

Im pretty sure you can get a scratch remover from ebay. I think it's a liquid that you just rub on the screen and it removes the scratch

I tried rubbing it to make sure it wasn't a piece of dust haha! I guess I should just be more careful next time :/!
I will search eBay for any screens as that may be a solution!
well, depends on the depth of scratch. some scratches on glass can be polished by jeweller but personally I don't think you'd find anybody who would do it good enough. surface would have to be perfectly even.
another way is applying protective shields - some of them lower the visibility of a scratch.
definitely the best method is front cover change. unfortunately you cannot change it without touch panel and screen altogether. be aware of adverts about front glass only. touch panel is applied to glass, screen to touch panel - i see no way that you'd change glass only without destroying the rest. I don't know how are the prices in UK but where I come from the full set (cover+glass+touch panel+screen) is about 100EUR...
(as I know links to shops are not allowed)
changing it yourself is a piece of cake.
Sadly, the honest answer is no. A scratch is more than a mere blemish... you have technically gouged material out of the surface of your screen. The only way to truly remove the scratch would be to buff the entire screen down to the deepest point of the scratch, which would effectively ruin it. Replacing your screen is the only true option.
There are solvents you can apply to reduce the appearance of the scratch for a time, and thats what most of the liquids you will find online are.
(Edit: I'm not sure most of those solvents would work on normal glass, let alone gorilla glass. Those are generally geared more towards plastics.)

BUT forget about all above because definitely the best method is front cover change - you'll find a lot of these on the net and it's not so expensive.

Something like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Replaceme...arts_Tools&hash=item2a1cba3783#ht_1281wt_1144
Two questions: How easy, exactly? And will it void my warranty?

That is for the international phone, and will not work if you have one of the us variants. Easy enough with the right tools. Yes, it will void your warranty.

@MiKenning
you're too fast, I'm too slow - I had to edit the post that it wouldn't make a mess.
such a thing is just the one I mentioned to avoid.
I meant cheap because in Croatia i9100 is still about 500-700EUR. changing screen for 100EUR seems not so much then...
forgive me if I confused you by posting too fast and not the full info.
here's the link showing disassembling of sgs2. it's korean version but step by step it's the same:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QKztg1ra4-0
and YES - this will void your warranty. if you still have warranty unfortunately it make no sense for you to do anything yourself except trying to polish it or applying screen shield. you may also ask how much it would cost at Samsung service.

Ah right I see! Well, I might as well wait until my warranty is over or just stop myself from scratching my screen up!
Thank you anyway! I don't think I'll bother even trying in the future! Haha!
well don't give up. if you don't want to spend so much money just try to find some good screen protector - i read a lot of times that some of them really works.
whatever else you try you have to be extremely carefull no to get blurred image all over your screen.
