I'm looking for an app that will auto fill passwords that I save to it for Apps. I don't know if this is even possible. I know there are some put there for internet forms but I want it to fill app forms. I would be willing to pay for something like this. Thx

i haven't had much issue with this personally so i'm not 100% sure.
my best guess would be, perhaps you're able to manage your market account on their web site and remove the applications? http://market.android.com and login with the account linked on your device.
i know once you purchase an application, there never seems to be a remove option. although, if the application was free, removing it once, should keep it removed from your account.
i'm sure anybody with more experience will post up. hope that helps!
choose not to backup your apps with google when running the setup wizard
Ahh duuhh thanks guys

Hi all.
I am wondering if anyone knows a way to use the fingerprint scanner to store usernames and passcodes. My old lenovo laptop with a fingerprint reader did this. Basically you had to select an app and set the login credentials. Just wishful thinking? Would be really cool to use the scanner more than just an unlock device like to login into mobile applications. Not a lot of phones use the scanner but maybe someone knows a way?

Theres an app I remember, data something.... which uses fingerprint. But doesnt do what you say....would be nice though.

Bummer. This would really set this phone apart from it's competition and leave road for future devices. If anyone knows of other ways to use the fingerprint scanner besides unlocking the device, im all ears!

I think I see the app you were referring to. Datadefender by authentec. It only seems to lock access to applications, but not store credentials. The site offers an ask for mobile developers though. Ill keep digging but im no dev

You could use an app like mSecure to store info and use datadefender to require a fingerprint for that app.
Ok. I'm a salesman at a car dealership and I'd like an app to log my customers.
This is simple enough, but what I need to find is an app that I can take a number down in my phone along with a name, and a short bit of text. And then send it to my tfp.
Any ideas?

Why not just use Docs and create a excel sheet with the fields you want?

HAHAHA... I was thinking why not just use Excel, too, when I saw the thread preview in the forum list.
Why not save the contacts on your phone to a gmail account that could access from your tfp? All of my phone contacts appear on both.
or evernote. syncs with phone tab and pc

It seems like it would be a pain in the ass to use excel. Maybe not though. I'll have to try it as well. I am a car salesman as well. I'd like an app to track previous months and currents month statistics. I know iOS had one but I cannot find one for Android. Anyone know of one.

Try searching the Market for 'crm' there are decent sales tracking apps that might work.
Excel sounds like a pain, the gmail idea could work it just gets hard to keep track of ( I did it on my phone for awhile), but evernote sounds like a good one, i'll try it out.
Excel would work for the statistics I would imagine.

When you add customers make sure you add them to a separate group so that they don't show up alongside your "normal" contacts.
I've been using Evernote, it's amazing app. Thanks

I'm looking for a way to password protect an app. Preferably a method that requires root (instead of just downloading an app that does that. Because you can just delete the app and the password's gone).
Any way? If not, then the best app.

App Lock
I use App Lock,
beside the apps I want to protect, I also locked System Setting and Play Store so no one without password can uninstall/install application.
@Buddy39914
I use Hide It Pro to protect all my applications and files.
It might not put password in every applications or files you have but I tell you, Hide It Pro does more on it. search it on Google Play Store and have a try, read some comments over there to give you an insight.
Goodluck
