So I went to flash to my cell using romrepo.info/wiki/index.php?title=Install_from_Stock_Optimus. I got to step 15, and I realized I forgot to place the ROM in my sd card so I restarted the cellphone so I could place the ROM in my sd card, go to reboot to repeat the process and I get a screen that goes:
Fastboot mode started
gpio_i2c: invalid khz: 0
bl: i2c write error
udc_start()
--suspend--
--reset--
--portchange--
--reset--
--portchange--
fastboot: processing commands
Its a blue screen. I just want to flash this Any guides to get me out of this?

In the above guide replace optimus one recovery with optimus v.

Can someone post a link to a recovery file for my phone? You guys are the best.
I followed the above guide, and used the ROM here prepaidandroid.org/index.php?title=How_to_restore_your_Optimus_V_to_almost_original_condition
It reboots, and the same blue screen is up
My brother flashed the wrong recovery, I tried using the tutorial to fix it using fastboot.exe from windows, but it won't work as it can't find the device. windows sees an android device and I installed the drivers from lg, but it refuses to enumerate in adb shell, so I can't connect to it, any ideas?
okay after fiddleing with it a bit, I got the origional recovery mode restored on it, and when I boot into recovery and plug in usb adb can see the device, I have a stock froyo rom how do I restore from here, or can I reflash clockwork from here?

Can you get me to where you are? Step by step would be nice
Not sure what recovery files I need or ROM I need or anything, or how to use adb. I've been looking online for the past 3hrs on this stuff.

go to this page
this only works if you have some sort of custome recovery, My brother had the wrong one for the optimus v (clockworkmod 3.2.0.0) and it wouldn't install any rom.
I just played around with this page until I got the stock bootloader/recovery back, however I'm not sure if this is what we want, you may want to try flashing one of the custom recoveries listed on the site, now that I have the stock I can re-flash anything.

you need to get into a custom recovery, optimus v press back, volume up and power at the same time to boot into a recovery, if you don't have a recovery at all there maybe an issue. so try and boot into a recovery and let me know what you have.

Nothing happened. Just that blue screen.
Looking in my SD card I noticed I have a backup of the recovery-clockwork-3.2.0.0-vm670 file. This anything helpful?

if you can't get into any recovery your device maybe permintally bricked, but don't take what I say as gospel I'm new at this as well, I'm still looking up more info, in the mean time you need to figure out how to get into recovery, google for key combos, also when using a key combo to get into recovery make sure power is the last button you press in the combo, hold down the others then power (while still holding the other buttons) and release as soon as you see the lg logo, it should go away quickly and after a few seconds of black you'll see the recovery, if the lg logo stays up for a while it's trying to normal boot.

you don't want that version of clockwork, that's what my brother flashed and that started this whole mess

I think if I can get adp to recognize this device I can fix it. Fastboot recognizes this, but adp doesn't. Is there a special adp driver maybe lol?
Got a little bit of progress....did a full system flash using fastbootroot and NVM OMG its fully booted! wow never thought I'd see the homescreen again...now to try to flash it again hahahaha
Now what verison of recovery and rom should I be looking at?

if you want to get aospCMod on your phone, follow this tutorial, this is what I did for my phone works great.
Now my question to you is how did you use fast boot root tool to get back to home screen because I'm still stuck at recovery
okay I finally managed to fix it, I figured out how to use fast boot root and got a custom recovery, from there I could flash other recoveries, which was importaint because even though I could install any rom I wanted it was stuck in a boot loop where it would keep booting into recovery, So i flashed Xionia_CWMA_12518.4_VM_Recovery.zip from here and under advanced it has an option to fix the boot loop, then from there I could flash a rom and it's fixed.
Lot of work fixin' my first bricked phone, but I learned alot.

Why don't u flash recovery through adb, so the recovery will work and then you can install a Rom next...
You think you can walk me though it, im still a noob at this

You certainly can enter the boot loader ryt?
I actually own HTC incredible s so can't say much about it, nut then android OS works around the same way with bootloaders and recoveries, so hope I can get u some head start....
What exactly happens when you turn on the phone?
My ATRIX has wrote this without my consent!
Can you get into "Fastboot" mode? Wait.. are you just rooted or rooted and unlocked? If you are unlocked or even not unlocked and can get into RSD Mode, you could flash the Pudding 2.3.4 sbf. Or you could go to the "Fruit Cakes" thread, download the zip file extract the boot.img and system.img and flash them via fastboot...
The issue has been resolved...
It seemed that he could flash roms with sense 2.0 or 2.1 without any problems, but then he couldn't flash the 4ext recovery, as it did not seem to work, all it would do is give a blank screen, wherein the recovery would run but the text wasn't visible at all...
He first formatted his SD card...
Flashed 4extrecovery 2.1.0 final version. And it worked...
Next he flash VU 2.35 ROM. And power off the device after the flash from the recovery itself.
Went back into recovery again (keep in mind he hasn't started his phone, it actually ends up in boot loops) and flashed the unity v3 kernel.
Power off Tue device again and power on... Voila!!! It worked....
Some cpu's tend to be a little diff. than others. So some can bare the alterations made to their frequencies and voltage while others can't. Hope it goes well with all the IncS users....
EDIT: sorry posted this on the wrong thread... This is how another incredible s user had a problem like, so solved his one....
Hi, sorry if posting in wrong section
Im currently stuck in bootloop after modifying framework-res.apk.
Phone is of course rooted, used root explorer to paste the framework-res.apk, renamed the original one.
I have googled around a bit, and im pretty confused
Any ideas how to make it boot?
Thanks!!
As it is stuck in a bootloop , all u can do is flash a stock Rom again, I find this is the only solution or may be u can push stock framework if available using adb!!
Sent from my SK17i using XDA Premium App
Wenever modifying framework u shud always consider backing up your Rom!!

First, thanks for the replies !!!
I messed around with fastboot a little yesterday, and i have a little problem installing it. I finally figured out how to install the drivers, but I cant get adb open, it just closes after clicking on it
How can I get this work?
First of all you should have set right permissions for the file before restart
ADB starting only from command line, and if you use Vista or Seven just right click on the folder where ADB is situated and type "ADB"
use SEUS ... it's the easy way ...
um isnt that for older SE phones? Or maybe im wrong
I couldnt find anything about it..
Ok I finally got ADB working, however it cant find my phone :/
I connected it via fastboot (?), like holding down vol-up and plug in USB, phone gets a blue notification light up left.
Is this the right mode? Drivers should be working just fine according to device manager..
Thx

SEUS knows if you tried to modify your phone. It won't help.

Change the permission of the file which you have copied.
Don't worry it will work fine.

Root Explorer Can do the trick.
hello.. im also stuck in boot loops.. so how can i fix this using adb tools ??? plsss help :\
reflash using wotanserver
may be you wrong to set permissions
sir please please please help me i have micromax A110 i have same problem but i have backup my data and it is in internal sd card i have backup data through clockword recovery but no luck it is just boot lopping please someone help
Lol this happends never, because i know how to modify framework-res.apk properly (lol), i build a flashable zip on my phone always to make sure it copied, and have a flashable zip with framework-res.
Well, the easiest solution is to reflash the ROM/framework-res.
Jader13254 is right, you should always have a rescue strategy before messing around with something like framework-res.apk. It sounds like you don't have cwm recovery installed, which sounds particularly crazy. The bootlooping is going to make it difficult to use adb or android commander or anything similar with out recovery. If you have cwm you have some options to push the working framework onto the phone, but with out cwm, I think you can only use SUS/SEUS/PCC or flashtool to repair your phone. Just check for any of the guides for rooting, unbricking, updating ,etc your device.
I believe I have soft bricked my device. Earlier this morning I installed ARHD, it went into the AROMA Installer and went through the process of picking the mods that I wanted, I hit install & as soon as it hit 99 Percent, I was brought back to TWRP as if I didn't flash anything. Feeling confused, I hit reboot system and after the HTC Screen boots up, it takes me directly back to TWRP. I've never experienced anything like this before, what in the world did I do incorrectly? Please help, feel free to chime in.

Thats not a brick, thats a boot loop of sorts. If I were you I would try flashing back to 100% stock and start over.

I did the EXACT same thing, except now my internal storage won't mount, rendering the nandroid option useless. I tried flashing it via fastboot to no avail. Any suggestions, outside of waiting for the ruu to be released?

Well considering you're familiar with fastboot, what I did was relock my bootloader, unlocked it again and this time I installed CWM instead of TWRP, used adb sideload connected my device via usb cable, downloaded the stock ROM from @Mike1986 and pushed it to my device and profit. I learned my lesson not to use the touch screen and to use the power button to navigate through Aroma. I hope this helps..

Ironically I was gonna suggest not using touchscreen twrp, that it might be the problem. Only when using Aroma though (I believe). Touchscreen in Aroma using twrp is known to fubar phones at this point.

Okay, So i have a Sprint HTC One (M7) I wanted to get Sense 6 using the InsertCoin ROM. So first i had to unlock the boot loader once i did that i needed to root it. I accidently installed Clockwordmod as my custom recover, i installed TWRP recovery instead, i forgot to make a backup.(Stupid me, I know. -_-) But it was working then, i was able use the device, i flashed this zip that would turn SU off so i could flash the rom i wanted. Now my phone wont even let me use it. It turns on, displays the HTC logo and goes straight to fastboot. Does anyone have any ideal to fix it? Please i have no clue. ^~^ I think its the kernel, but i don't know. I'm new to this. .-.

You should be able to get to recovery. If so, then you can push files to the phone via adb.
