Isn't there an option of 'Forget Network' if you touch and hold on the remembered WiFi connection?
Test Therese is a Forget Network bit No Remember Network.
Should I press and hold Forget Network ?
It was this selektion I pressed when my WiFi was diskonekted.

I think you should. If you do it will scan and find your Wifi connection again.

If I have a dodgy wifi signal it will connect with 'limited connectivity' which seems to mean it dosent connect at all.
I then need to go and fick about with the settings to get it connected properly.
Does anyone know if you can stop it doing this, I have tried various wifi management apps to no avail?

Hi
I search an app or a MOD that automatically turn 3g off when I lock the phone. It shouldn't turn off the hole internet. It shoul switch from 3g to 2g when I lock my phone.

I'll try

Tap portable wifi hotspot (not the slider switch) and it gives you the configuration, you can either put your own password in, or check "Show characters" to display the password.

I'm with Vodafone UK and disabled every option I can find to so my phone auto connecting to BT openzone, yet if I have my wifi enabled when out and about it keeps connecting to it.
I wouldn't mind but can't get it to actually work, so would rather it not connect at all.
This isn't the same as connecting to open networks as it doesn't do that automatically it only connects to BT openzone and networks I have set it to remember.
Anyone any ideas what else I can set to stop this?

Yeah. But I switched all the options off. Also appeared to do it before I installed the Vodafone app too.

Try going into Wi-Fi and forgetting all the BT connections that you can see

I don't understand what you said above. If you mean selecting the network then yes I have selected my home network. But it doesn't prevent automatically selection of the roaming network. Sometimes it selects home network, sometimes it select the roaming network and sometimes it shows that the selected network is not available. After all thanks for your reply. Any help in this case!
