Darkstone has investigated on this issue and his final patch has been pushed to GIT and is now included in newer kernels.

I think we have a solution workaround for the problem with music stuttering.
Edit: Users reported that with this workaround quadrant stalls to appr. 1.000 points (confirmed) and some youtube issues...

Here is the guide once more:
Reason is the stagefright player. Try disabling it by setting
media.stagefright.enable-player=false in /sytem/build.prop
build.prop can be manipulated by droid explorer.
To be safe I checked the previous FroyoStone Sense - V3.1 build and voila - the parameter was originally set to false.
This explains why the FroyoStone Sense - V3.1 was the only build for me without any music stuttering but also the only one with about 1.000 quadrant scores.
Interestingly the low quadrant score didn't let me feel to have a slow android. User hastarin confirmed my investigations here.
I tried the solution workaround with several builds, i.e.
FroyoStone Sense - V3.2
mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.8
mdeejay FroYo Sense v.1.1 clean
and it works for me!
It is very important to restart after applying the 'patch'.
Edit: User memin1857 reported another possible workaroud here.
However, the conclusions of success are inconsistent.
Users report that Android isn't booting anymore.
As far as I could not test it yet (have to go to university)

First copy the file to your harddisk.
Then open it with an editor (I am using notepad++).
After editing copy it back using droid explorer.

It fixes mp3-player and slows cpu my bench results in quadrant went back to 1100 (down from 1700), the cpu score is very low
edit: especially decoding time for video / audio in quadrant increased, strange one..

Nope, sense is integrated deep into the system. It isn't just an apk, it's an entire framework and uses more than just one application (music player, contacts, image viewer, web browser, etc.)

If not serio won't fix it. I've included references in init.buzz.rc but still no good
/sys files are part of the kernel - you won't be able to pull or modify them.

anyway, i wish you could still make more improvements to this rom,

I've update it over my Nexusv2 ROM and I don't see anything special in these "open rom"
Sd card to remove bug, video rec bug, and the phone restart's when you have too much RAM usage :/
quadrant score about 1104 (on the nexus was qudrant score 1230)

Requirements:
rooted device
latest Kernel and Baseband M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Here are a few instructions:
Download attached zip file
unzip (before)
Place on your SD card
goto any shell
type: "insmod /sdcard/cy8ctma300_ser.ko"
you will have dual touch enabled now
after a reboot you will lose dual touch if you have any troubles
If you want it to work properly you will have to edit your hw_config.sh and copy cy8ctma300_ser.ko to /system/lib/modules/
add the two lines before any other insmod at the bottom of hw_config.sh:
"insmod /system/lib/modules/cy8ctma300_ser.ko"
"sleep 1"
Also edit your build.prop and add the lines below:
ro.product.multi_touch_enabled=true
ro.product.max_num_touch=2
IF IT DOES NOT WORK AND YOU GET A FAILURE "file exists" WHILE INSMODDING PLEASE USE THIS FILE INSTEAD (SEEMS TO BE TWO DIFFERENT MINI PROS OUT THERE):

Got it working on test apps and Google Tracks - but not in normal Google Maps/Latitude.
However... it works in Angry Birds - at last we can zoom out!!!

is working tested in multitouch visualizer 2. I was manualy add line insmod.....

Yes, it is compatible i got it working, you doing something bad
MiniCM7-2.2.1 Camera by default:
- autofocus is too short --> photos are blured, over exposure led flash
- no auto adjust exposure of camcorder when you shot from dark to bright area or vice versa
- on camcorder mode if led is turned on, it will turned off if you tap the record button
- and last probably the most popular issue, freezing at the middle of recording following with unsynched audio and video
After FIXed
- auto adjust exposure
- decent autofocus with one tap of button
- led can turn on while video record
- no freeze
- no AV unsynch issue
The video is the same quality with 2.1 ROM and the audio is better than 2.1 ROM,
but decreased from the quality of MiniCM7 2.2.1 ROM.
This is the best setting I can get to make it not freezing while record video

1. media_profiles.xml --> copy to /etc replace the original
2. Camera.apk --> copy to system/app replace the original
3. three lib files --> copy to system/lib replace the original
And then delete the Camera.odex in system/app
Reboot phone, and you're done

No. It doesn't.
It's possible, but I dunno how.
I tried once to copy semccamera apk to system/app.. the photo works but camcorder FC..and the UI is messed up.
This is the best we can try at the moment, I think.

gonna wait for some feedback, but this is definitely a must have app.:good:
For smc_continueus use LGcamera from Gstore , in camcorder mode just change the focus mode from auto to smc_cont and you will get the continueus focus ( notice you must start the capturing vid with LGcamcorder not the Camera.apk and start recording with hardware button not the soft one from screen)

on minicm7 220 worked for me perfect. with big letters at ssid and policy sleep set on 'never', but now i can not make work again.

Hey, the camcoder of the version 2.1.8 of this rom was working fine,
I could use focus pressing the screen while recording video,
after I updated then the application get no focalization in video,
I do belive the 2.1.8 had the better cam possible to GB rom

Hmm.. Maybe replace the tiwlan_drv.ko in system/lib/modules with the one from 2.2.0.. ??

thanks. is not working, i found that the tiwlan_drv.ko is in kernel so i flashed the naa11 kernel (the corresponding from minicm7 220) and hotspot have the same bug when the screen goes off. after this i compared all the wifi modules between the 11 and 14 kernels (by the size) and i found that the kernels have the same modules. i compared the wifi configs and xml between the roms and are the same. i will give an another try to flash naa11 and minicm7 220 to see again how the hotspot works.

Wi-Fi driver settings haven't been modified for very long time. You will have to somehow compile a kernel with fixed Wi-Fi / Hotspot, as none of nAa kernels don't have this fixed.

Wait, did that worked for you? MiniCM7Pro was used for Stock kernels as far I remember. Yet, one more reason:
