[REQ] Stock KG3 CRT Off - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys can someone help me find CRT-OFF effect Framework for stock KG3 2.3.4. Thanks.

I am a bit confused as to why there needs to be a specific fix for each version - what would happen using one of the older CRT fixes on KG3 (I can't post links at this point but there is one for KG2).
Do Samsung block the effect on the GS2 or have they taken it out?

[Q] Where can I find MIUI/CM modems?

Hi everybody,
I searched the forum for a modem for I9100 that support MIUI rom..
Something like this thread of siky_dude: Link
Only I need one for I9100..
Now I use the JIKI2 modem from my stock rom (Israel - Cellcom), and I'm not so happy with the battery life and the reception..
I was looking for the JIKI2 miui modem everywhere..
Where can I find I9100 MIUI/CM modems??
Or can someone link me to how to make one??
Thanks in advance,
Gil
Any of these modems will work for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277593
CM7 doesn't replace your modem when you flash it, you retain whichever one you were using prior to install.
I flashed the KL1 modem from there on the latest MIUI and now I am getting "no service." I stupidly didn't back up the original one so does anyone know what modem the the Dec 2 update uses? Or does it retain your previous one like CM7?

[Q] Stock Kernel T959UVKB5

Hi, where can i find stock kernel for vibrant froyo (2.2), all the links seems to be broken
thanks
These aren't for just the stock kernel, but check this thread out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036193
It particular this post (#224) by Fishman:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24149078&postcount=224
That's an entire stock ROM (also rooted and busy boxed) with the stock kernel included.
For Froyo or GB Roms Id say try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1627070
The Jaeyoon kernel is basically a stock froyo 2.2 kernel with Voodoo enabled.
I fixed the links in my original post. Copied that from somone that asked for a stock ROM and didn't pay attention that it kept the ... in the middle.
Thanks...
Thanks everyone for your help, i´m downloading some of the images i´ll try to see what fits better to me....

[Q] CRT Animation once again

I wanted the good ol' CRT screen-off back, so I went all the way to framework editing from this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185231
The problem is, I should change 'config_animateScreenLights' to 'false', but it is ALREADY set to false, and I still don't have my CRT! Googling this, I found out this only happened to other Xperia users (a Mini Pro and a Ray), so I'm wondering if this could be an Xperia issue. Any way to get past it? Every guide on the net uses the 'animateScreenLights' thing, how can my framework be somehow overwritten by some SE setting?
If it can help I have a Mini st15i, with GB 2.3.4, FW .62 and stock rom/kernel.
read here for crt animation
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1306044
some files missing in 2.3.4 for crt off animation. If I remember correctly dont need edit, just add files... read in link above
But that mod actually has a modified framework-res, and I want just the CRT effect =(
Edit: nvm found the edited libsurfaceflinger separately thanks!

[Q] CRT-off MOD for ZSEMA1 ROMs?

I know that some hate it but I happen to love the CRT-off effect when I lock my screen. I have been using through all versions until ZSEMA1. I searched but couldn't find it and hence the [Q]
Is there a CRT-off MOD for ZSEMA1 based ROMs already?
Edit: I have found it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1944485
if it's not in the mods section, it doesn't exist
