Hi,
I'm using ogo's 2.3.3 on my legend and I noticed that whatsapp has less contacts listed than under 2.2.
Contact with phone number is listed in contacts.
Anybody experiencing similar issues?
Edit: only Facebook contacts are affected, sync works, but contacts won't be synced with whatsapp.

My girlfriend just got a thunderbolt. Unrooted. It seems as if Facebook will not sync with her contacts. Trying to manually link them does nothing unless the contact name exactly matches the Facebook name. Just wondering if there is some secret handshake or whatever to get this to work properly?

Do you have both Facebook the app and HTC's Sense Facebook accounts under Settings > Accounts & Sync? I believe its the Facebook App that syncs contacts
Ya she has them both. I'm sort of at a loss, works perfectly on my incredible then do the exact same thing on her thunderbolt and it just wont link unless she edits her contact names to match Facebook profiles.

Hi, I'm not at all sure how contact sync is working. Suddenly I find Facebook and linkedin contacts in my outlook contact folder. Why is that? Anyone having ideas?

it seems the only way i can sync the pics is to do it manually. i havent really checked out the calendar, but i know that the pics don't sync automatically.
I'm having this problem to. If i go to the accounts & sync and choose Facebook for HTC sense it shows the calendar isn't syncing. My friend stream widget hasn't updated since July 2nd. Any ideas?
I've had trouble finding the answer to this question as I'm not really sure what to search for.
For Android Google apps (such as Gmail and Contacts especially) Is it a one-way sync, or two-way sync, or something inbetween?
If I add a contact to my phone that I associate with a Google ID, it syncs to Google such that I see it in my Gmail Contacts list once it's done.
But when I delete a contact either on my phone or in Gmail, will it delete the contact off the other devices as well?
How does it all work?
Thanks in advance, xda community

yup
From my understanding it's a completely two way sync based on time stamps (date updated)

It uses Microsoft active sync, so when you update on one source, it updates on all.

Hi guys I have a Facebook account I used to use but I deactivated it years ago. However it is the best source for keeping my contacts having their preferred picture.
On my vivid I was able to log on to Facebook, sync contacts, and all of their pictures would show up on my contacts in the phone. Then I could deactivate Facebook and the pictures would stay.
On my hox+ I'm unable to do that?? As soon as I deactivate the contacts pictures go away. Anyone know if there's a way I can have both deactivated and their pictures saved?

I'd like to know the answer to this too
Also, when you sync the calender, it disappears when u deactivate, is there a way to make it stay? It's very handy for birthday reminders for friends. Keep missing folks birthdays.
In facebook settings tell it to sync with existing contacts.
