[Q] Bluetooth battery usage 1% - HTC EVO 3D

Under battery use, my EVO is constantly telling me that my Bluetooth usage is at 1%. I don't use bluetooth nor do i ever turn it on (i do, however, use Wifi). Anyone else getting this?

I get it all the time. Its a bug but doesnt hurt battery life at all.

[Q] Cell Standby Battery Usage on WiFi Flyer

I looked at my battery usage on my Wifi only flyer and noticed that cell standby was account for over 70% of my battery usage (there are different categories for WiFi usage). This does not make sense, anyone else noticing the same thing?

I had this too. Mine is a 3G version but I am WiFi a lot too. I am having some success with Juice Defender available in the market. I am using its tablet mode which when connected to WiFi disables the cell completely and has definitely helped with battery drain overall. I reckon I get 10-20% better battery life now overall.
Don't have that problem on my WiFi Flyer. In 8h 17m on battery, my display is 82%, wifi 7%tablet idle 4% Android os 3%, Dolphin HD 3%, bluetooth 1%. Still have 70% battery life. Haven't used it much today.
yup... just turn it to airplane mode... you can still use the wifi and no cell standby issues... also makes me wonder if the cell radios are in there and if there is a way to get them on a network

Bluetooth battery drain without being on.

I used the forum search, but did not find anything but excuse me if it has been mentioned. I charged my 3vo over night, and pulled it off the charger this morning with a full battery. After ten hours of light internet through WiFi and 3G, a few txts, and reading some news, my "what has used the battery" displays that Bluetooth has taken up five percent of my battery even though I have never turned on bluetooth. Any ideas as to why Bluetooth is using power even though it's not turned on?

[Q] EVO 3D's GPS draws more power than EVO 4G

I would assume the GPS radios are about the same and therefore have the same power draw. However, it definitely "seems" like using Google Navigation in my car while charging drains the battery much quicker than it did with EVO 4G. With the 4G, I could start with a full charge and keep it as long as it was plugged in and charging. Today, it was charging but still dropped all the way to 60% while ON the car charger + BT. I never experienced this with the 4G. In fact, with the 4G, if I had 75% or so and used Navigation, it would eventually get to 100% if it was on the charger more than 30min or so.
Has anyone noticed the 3D's GPS being more power hungry? Any other ideas?

s3 consuming more battery on wifi than 3G/HDSPA+

So ive been using omega v27 based on the official Poland Jelly Bean rom, and i have noticed that my battery is draining quicker when im on wifi... i used better battery stats and my wifi seems to be keeping my phone awake unless i put on settings "turn wifi off during sleep" on never.
I wanted to know if someone else is experiencing something similar to this, i thought my drain should be higher on 3G/Hdspa, however this is not the case.
thanks.
I thought battery drain should be higher when using wifi
nope.. usually the phone consumes less battery on wifi.. well at least thats how i thought it should be
In my case wifi doesn't keep the phone awake, or at least not awake like with softlocker which causes much faster battery drain. With wifi always on, mine can standby more than 1 hour for every 1% battery according to battery monitor widget.
seems like i fixed it, no idea how though

[Q] Battery Drain

Hey guys, I am noticing when I have my phone in my car dock, plugged in to the charger, it doesn't seem to be enough to keep gps running without losing power t a rate of alomst 10% in 30 minutes. Does this seem really high to anyone else or am I just expecting too much from the phone?
Only 10% drain while running GPS while charging. That's better than average in my opinion. I've seen my GPS swallow up to 40% of my battery in 1-2 hours.

You probably aren't drawing enough power from the car adapter/charger to keep the device charging, GPS does use quite a bit of power.
Does it say what the amperage is on the car charger? .5A most likely.
