Hi,just brought a x10 mini pro and i was saddened to see it crops wallpaper images.I used to make gif animation for my old sony walkman phone and was hoping to do the same for this one.Is there a way?

As far as I know, Android does not natively support GIF wallpapers, however this app might help : https://market.android.com/details?id=com.andsoft.animwallpaperfree&feature=related_apps

Thanks for the replys.I've recently worked out how to do this,you can use a app called "Anim Wallpaper" works great for all my gifs.You just set wall paper,select "live wallpaper" then select "Anim Wallpaper" and choose the gif you wish to use.

I think this is best of display Animated GIF images as your wallpaper.

Hello I was wondering if anyone could get their hands on the new launcher for the newly released xperia minis? its the same screen resolution as the x8 and the arc launcher (also 2.3) works on the x8 so installing this one on it shouldnt be a problem and it looks so cool

ones are not released yet.wait till august
im waiting for this launcher too! think it should work on the X10 mini pro too ?!?!?! maybe they don't forgett to support the smaller screen resolution...
...320x240 is not so much, the go launcher ex works great there but the app depot or "5 keys in dock bar" are designed for bigger screens.. its not so easy to work with one finger on this small stuff......
ps: a "4 corner mini docks" instead of the 5-keys-dock-bar for go launcher ex would be greeeaaaaaaaatt!!!
..and a 3x3 or so size in the app depot view .........
...or just the basic x10 mini pro launcher with multiple widgets at one screen + resizeable widgets.......

Hello people. I'm having trouble with the wallpaper as i'm trying to set the wallpaper with 680 x 1184 jpeg, its always crop to half. I did try using ADWluncher or some other luncher but doesn't have the setting to do with wallpaper. I did try Google for the issues but most of it said cant do anything with that.
Also the font size its kind of small. Is there anyway to make it bigger? Some other fourm said it can be done by downloading Apps from Market but its only work on SMS only. What i'm trying to look for is making all the font big and not just the SMS.

For font size try changing the system fonts, To do dis your phone need to be rooted..

For changing font you need to have access to the system files(root).
The x10 wallpaper size is 960x854.

I have trouble with one specific Live Wallpaper on my SK17i (Artemia, by TAT The Astonishing Tribe). I installed it but it force closes when I try to select it.
- Has anyone had their own experiences with misbehaving LW's on their Mini (or other Xperia 2011 devices)?
- Is there any way to troubleshoot what's wrong?
- Are there other Live Wallpapers you'd like to recommend (which do work on Xperia mdpi devices)?

I have not a screenshot but il like shack them all lwp. It not exactly stock app but It a system app. I didn't delate mine but i don't find it in my phone
don't understand your post, btw stock Sony live wallpaper is called ExperienceFlow2LiveWallpaper and yes it is normally in system/app
Some lwp are allready on your phone, some lwp like black home, cosmic flow and phase beam. One of them is distinction. Distinction is the name of this lwp. Don't Know if this name is in french
