I recently switched from o2 to giffgaff and was using EleganceSwift 2.1. This displayed giffgaff logo in the status bar. However, I'm now using Swfitdroid RC2 and it displays o2. Is there anyway I can manually change this?
It's not too important, but just bugging me abit.
Thanks
Nik

NO, you can't.
use search next time.
Don't be rude. A simple no and a link to the thread would have worked just fine. Sorry op...everyone on the forums doesn't act this way.

We need the status bar of 1.6, and wish it works under 2.2

I really want the 1.6 status bar back
Running 2.1 with Launcher Pro. It was working fine but now I do not see the red number on the SMS icon for new messages. Rebooting the phone, recreating the shortcut, changing icons all did not work. Any solution to this?
Anyone?

I have it checked and it still does not pop up. I have set it multiple times, restarted LauncherPro and even rebooted the phone to no avail.

I use the same thing, has 1% increments. Works like a charm!
Thanks, is this a separate icon?
Because i have a very long carrier name , everthing else that is added on the bar is hidden, except of course the default at top right

Try Carrier Name app and change your carrier name to something shorter or remove it altogether.
Unfortunately carrier name is not working on all phones...
Not working on mine.

Battery Circle is an awesome percentage app. It shows it on the status bar on the far left with different options. Check it out.

You can use a third party messaging app like GO SMS PRO, it will give you option to change the notificitation icon dsiplayed on the status bar another way is if you are rooted then simply install and apply any theme from playstore..
I flashed it and the signal and data icons in the notification bar and a bit far apart, any ideas on how to fix it?

You can try using Xposed Framework along with Xblast tools, that may be able to solve your problem. I know that with xblast tools you can add text to the notification bar and move the clock to the middle om the bar, so maybe you can change the icons distance.
