I just flashed alien rom, and now I have a voice mail notification. Before the flash, I used google voice for voice mail but when I try to select google voice as it says: "forwarding number change unsuccessful". Any ideas on how to fix this?

I use Meebo IM on my G Tab, and have set up my Google Talk account on it. When somebody sends me a message via Google Talk, I get notifications for both Meebo and Google Talk in the notification bar. I used Titanium Backup to uninstall Google Talk (and one other service that was related to Google Talk, but I don't remember the name). However, even after uninstalling it I still get notifcations from it. When I click on that notification, nothing happens.
Does anybody know how I can make it so the only notifcation I get is the one for Meebo? Thanks!
I'm using VEGAn-Tab Ginger Edition btw (the most up to date version) if that is useful.
Hi,
Trying to set my default Bluetooth voice search to Google Voice search.
1. settings - voice input - default set to google. (only options google and vlingo)
2. default apps cleared
3. When activating voice search, under " Complete Action Using" I only have 3 options. Vlingo, Vlingo in car, and Voice Commands. Google is not listed.
I have uninstalled Google Voice Search and reinstalled it to no avail.
4.5.91
2.3.4
No roms, Proms
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Running Saurom on AT&T GNote. When I try to send an email using the Gmail app (latest from market) it moves the email into the outbox and then it just sits there! When I send the same email to the same recipient using the built-in email app, the email gets sent immediately (and is received by the recipient). All other Google apps work perfectly and I can receive mail through the GMail app perfectly.
Anyone else see this or have a clue

Hi
I am having a very weird problem.
I am using IMO for Instant Messaging and so i removed the TALK app from my Nexus one (running Oxygen Rom) using Titanium backup.
Recently there was an update in TALK app and i wanted to try it (Hangouts) so i installed it from the playstore. It was very slow on my mobile so i removed it again.
Now i am getting Talk notifications (with the old TALK icon) in the notification bar. along with the IMO notifications. When i click on the Talk notifications it does not open any app. and the messages that are notified by TALK are missing in the IMO app so its very frustrating.
So i thought it must be the HANGOUTS app and re installed it from the Play Store. Now i get Hangout notification, Talk notification and IMO notification.
Its very annoying. I removed the Hangouts app from the Application Manager and i still getting the TALK notifications.
Please help me get this Talk Ghost out of my mobile.

That is quite bizarre you could try reinstalling the Hangouts app then wiping its cache and data, then uninstalling it and finally rebooting it. Another suggestion would be provided you don't have Talk/Hangouts app installed as a system app is to boot into recovery and perform a factory reset as well as wiping the data and cache partitions. Also re-flashing your current ROM should fix the problem.

I have always used Google Dialer along with Google Voice to have my voicemail integrated in the app. Just updated my Dialer app to latest and it broke the integrated voicemail. Did some testing, and it appears any version beyond v26 of Google Dialer and the Google Voice integrated voicemail in dialer no longer works. Am I missing something here? Any way to get it working again without downgrading to v26 of Dialer app?
