I've got this problem and I can't fix it.. I have cyanogenmod 7 on my htc tattoo but when I go to android market site and try to download app witch are up then 1.6version it tells me that is not compatible with my phone. On my phone the app don't show and when I download them from internet I install it with Astro file manager and gives me the same error. Please help me!
i have also a tattoo with 1.6 ver. and my problem was that it cannot even approach android market .. then i finally factory reset my phone and all of it functions are working properly now .. so i must gave this advice to u to make this hard decision by backing up all you imprtant contents .. and i also recommend 'androzip' on astro file manager..

Im using the energy rom and i was wondering how come the marketplace doesn't work. Everytime i go to download bing or anyother map it stops at 75%. Any help would be appreciated.
download Omarket install it and download WMmarket and install it.
problem solved .. had the same prob withs erval roms
The only problem I have with WM Marketplace is that it won't work over WiFi...only on 3G. Maybe I'll try re-installing it.

i'm using FROYO_2.2.1_Final_Android_Stock from elelinux with FlyKernel 12a (erasmux), i can say it is one of the best rom out there, but...a few days ago when I try to install a new application it says "Application not installed." i tried another and another, i flash the rom again, but still nothing
- i tried to install application on SDcard, Internal Memory and the Automatic mode from CM and no results
- apllications form market are installing ok from what i've seen
Please Help!

So you're trying to install apps NOT from market? If yes, have you checked the 'unknown sources' from settings?

update: i just found out that smaller applications about 1-5MB(tested 400kB, 3MB) are installing without a problem. the bigger ones are creating my problem...
so i tried to install this jaggyrom on my htc explorer, and then my phone got bricked.!!
dont know brick is the right word, but im stuck on htc logo.!!
i tried 3different versions of jaggyrom but all failed.!!
so on a whim i installed the rom and after that i also install pandora kernel, then surprisingly it works.!!
but for some reason after i restart the phone, either it is unable to restart or all the apps are failed to run.!!
im guessing its some sort of mount2sd problem.!!
so what do i do.??
why is the phone not able to mount after the restart.??
and another question, can i use other kernel for this rom.??
pandora kernel is slow as hell, so can you suggest any compatible kernel for this one.!!

Hi guys, i'm going crazy with my Huawei y300-0100, after rooting. Running on android 4.1.1.
I deleted too much, as a stupid. Now the problem is i can't save any number in the "contacts" (no preloaded app version, can't find it anymore. I installed from play store two other apps, but can't save any number. One app,"contacts+" says "no app found to manage this action", while i'm trying to save a number..). The problem seems to be related to contact storage.
So, even if i'm a newbe (cause no backup done), i played with root explorer in system/app. Now find out i would need "contacs.apk", "contacts provider (this is storage, right?)", "phone apk", i don't know what else.
Hoping that with these file, i could install the storage from there. Or i don't know what to do.

Could be useful to flash original firmware? Don't know how..Please help

Flash stock rom from CWM or odin, if no cwm is available for your device, then try odin. Allmost all devices r compatible with odin. I dont have this device so this is only I can give to you

Ok just installed cyanogenmod 11 on my Huawei y300, from recovery, to try something different. Just learned by watching a video tutorial on YouTube.
Now it works again. The only thing is the battery life is very poor right now. Any ideas? Is really cyanogenmod?
Could be a good idea to install rom stock? Always from recovery? Thanks

m new here. i am into a problem. i ropted my device and using root explorer deleated gallary app on my samsung young.
since then im not able to set wallpapers. other image viewers might be flashy but coming down to basics and considering third party app size and functionality are no match for stocked gallery app.
i followed numerous ways of getting back the default app installed but its usless.
1)i downloaded secgallery2.apk and its odex file moved them to system/app .rebooted device
secgallery2 files was searched in google. i didnt specify model of my phone. wen i tried to. it just gave me result for galaxy y.
i changed the permission(rw-r-r) and checked ownership(root)
2)tried to install using system installer ..its says installing andp then success but wen i look for the app in menu its not there .nor even functional.hence not installed.
3) i tried to install gallery3d with above two methords no joy.
4) i dnt hav computer
can anyone give me a solution please

install Quickpic
it can do anything a stock gallery does and it's way better than stock.
just use once.

... this last one has high hopes may be command i entered is wrong may be
....
Download a rom based on the same update version you are on and extract the files you need and replace in /system/app with the right permissions and reboot.
