So I have a sim unlock code I paid for, but there doesn't seem anyway to input the code unless there's a non ATT simcard already in the phone???? Even my old Nokia e71x didn't have this limitation.... If anyone else has done this in the US, can you please share how you went about unlocking your atrix?
I havent SIM unlocked my Atrix, but couldnt you just pick up a T-Mobile pay as you go sim card and use that? They're only $7.

I agree....or just borrow someone's sim for a min...
I suppose I could buy the sim for another $7, but that's really inconvenient.
Hi, so I currently have T-Mobile Monthly 4G with a regular sim card.
I am planning on buying the GS3 outright. Has anyone done this yet? How did you go about obtaining a micro sim-card?
I just called M4G c/service and they said to go into a t mobile store and purchase one. Problem is, when I got this 4g Plan in the first place, tmobile had no idea what it was, and the only way they could sell a sim card was to activate a phone. So I had to order it from tmobile.com...problem there is, there is no way to order a micro sim, only reg. sim.
I would hate to use a cutter. With my luck it'll split in half, or I have the bigger contact sim.
Any input would be great. Thanks!
My store cut my payg sim down so I could use it. The cutter had a paper stapler style to it. It looked painless to be honest.

1. You can cut your current normal SIMCard
2. I believe you can get one free of charge from your telephone company (I received mine for free, O2 Germany)
I am asking this question because I am very new to AT&T coming from Sprint where I never had to mess with sim cards. I just bought the note 2 and I had to get a new thinner sim card for it. I just put the original note back to stock. Should I remove the sim card before selling it?
Go a head but it really doesn't matter...the sim in your other phone won't work anymore since you changed to another sim. Just take it out and toss it in the trash.

Thanks for the info.
I am currently on the One XL and got the new micro sim for 4g with that phone. My ONE is shipping with a new sim card according to my order. Is it necessary that I use that new sim card or can I simply pull my current sim and insert it into new phone.
on another note, it s amazing how much I want to refer to an item as the "one", as in current item, and find myself wanting to rephrase as to avoid confusion with the ONE phone. replace the word sim in my previous statement with the typical reference of "one" and imagine the confusion it could've brought

Your existing SIM should work unless HTC did something weird and changed the size of the SIM. But I doubt it. My same SIM has worked on the One X, One X+ and LGOG.
HTC One uses a micro SIM, so you shouldn't have to change anything except pop your old sim out and put it into your shiny new phone.
Hello,
I have a Photon Mb855 30/11 Phone and there is so much information I was hoping some one could steer me on where to go.
I want to be able to unlock the sim card ort radio not sure exactly so I can just go buy some pre paid sim cards to use in this phone like tracphone in particular. Thanks
