I have Netflix and wanted to know if I could stream Netflix to my TV via HDMI, would it work? Lastly whats the name of the cable I need thanks.

I think the 3VO has the Mini HDMI Port removed completely. There is a wireless streaming option on the phone that you can activate and choose which folders you want to share.....being that your TV has Wireless. I have a work around for mine....hooked up wireless through my comp and my comp is connected to my TV and Projector. Unless somebody out there has something different to say....that's my best solution for you.
Oh I thought the EVO had hdmi intergrated in the mini usb port, I need to look at the spec sheet again.

There is such a cable and its called a Mhl adapter. Tmovile stores have them. Just go in and look or order online. Don't even bother asking store reps from anywhere cuz they all have no idea what an mhl adapter is.

Got my adapter from t mobile. It works somewhat. Displays in 4:3. Quality is not great.

I downloaded the HD netflix.apk from the developers section of this forum. Using the mhl adapter I purchased from Sprint, I get full 16X9 video from my 3VO to my HD TV.

My computer went down from a bad storm. So for now my only internet is my phone. Can someone kindly tell me how you get your phone to play on the TV so if you use the internet on your phone to watch something like on Hulu it can show on your TV. Thanks for any help.

Hey guys I just ordered a pioneer avh p2400bt and was wondering of anyone has or tried to get video from their note to a unit like this. I was thinking about buying the micro usb to HDMI and getting a HDMI to rgb cable and trying to see if it would work...
Just want to either video mirror for GPS.
Any thoughts? Please share thanks.

Your Best bet would be buying a mhl adapter,it would need to be AC powered though, straight micro to HDMI ,I think, it won't work

Those adaptors were a hack until the MHL TV/monitors came out. There are some Achieva MHL car monitors on Ebay, now.

Are you sure it was hacked? I don't think he did Jack anything. He just bought a HDMI to RCA converter and it was working

I used the wrong word(hack). It is a "temp solution", like those digital TV to analog TV converters used to be.

Not trying to bump this from the dead and kind of the wrong forum, but I just purchased a Galaxy S3 and when plugging my phone into this receiver through USB it says 'incompatible USB' on the receiver. Does the Note have this problem? If it did how did you guys fix it? I'd rather not mess with Bluetooth and since a big part of my day is my commute, I hope this isn't a dealbreaker.
Yeah unfortunately I got this problem with my pioneer... sucked, I was looking forward to controlling my phone with the head unit... I just grabbed my gf's old iPod nano and loaded music to it and I just listen to that... I can also upload videos to it, witch is a plus....

me either ):
I haven't had my galaxy nexus or htc droid be found by my ps3, I think it might be a jellybean thing, especially since they don't have sd cards, and Windows sees then as mtp devices.
Last night I downloaded a dlna server app, worked pretty good for me. Watched pictures and videos from our ski trip.
The app "media server" worked well for me.

Let me know if this works.
In the meantime, the DROID DNA supports the wireless N standard, so if you have a wireless router supporting wireless N, it should increase your transfer rate.
The PS3's wireless adapter doesn't support wireless N or newer standards, so I suggest connecting the PS3 via ethernet port if possible. This should greatly improve local streaming speed.

So seeing as this phone has no hdmi output I was wondering if an mhl adapter would work so I could watch movies on my TV? I know about the HTC media link but I really don't want to shell out that much money to use that. So has anyone tried using an mhl adapter with this phone? Does it work?

I'd like to know if the One is compatible with the Media Link HD? And if so, how is the performance and set up? I was hearing a few things about setup being a pain but that was for the other One variants.
Has anyone used Android for PowerPoint presentations? Perhaps on Google Drive or any other third party application?

Yeah, it has a microUSB connection to plug into your phone's microUSB port and the other end has a HDMI port to be plugged in from your TV. (There's also a side port where you have to plug in the phones charger.) I can post pictures if need be. It completely mirrors your phones screen vs just media.

What I liked about the media link was that I could use it wirelessly so that if I were to use my phone for maybe a PowerPoint presentation then I wouldn't have a cable attached

Valid point. I do know for a fact that the One is Media Link compatible. I wasn't sure if you were in possession of one or not which is why I mentioned the cheaper option.

I actually don't have one in my possession and was looking to buy one but after seeing some reviews I'd like to look into it some more before being so committed to buying one.
Hi all, here in the Netherlands you get the medialink hd for free when you preordered the One before the end of april.
I used it and it works perfectly .
