Last week I bought O2 Xda II (IMEI:351938003270010) from Taiwan and this product include Rom Chinese Language which is difficult for me to understand. So would any one please tell me if it is possible to change this Rom language from Chinese to English Language and if that possible how can I do that?

the language can only be changed by changing to a rom of the desidered langauge
Thanks Rudegar, and I agree with you that the best way to change language it can be by changing the rom, but I heard there was some people upgraded their O2xd II by other Language like from German or France Language to English Language.
So, I am look forward to hearing good news about this subject.

by 3th party software which
1. hack the rom replace the hardcoded text in it to text of another language
2. capture text when display'd and translate it to the other language ?
the 1. would require the hack to know all texts in the rom and possibly all programs in the extented rom aswell
2 would also have to know all the texts to have translations ready and it would require extre cpu time making the device slower
are you sure they just dident upgrade their xda to a rom with a different language ?

And I am very happy to charring me this problem, and about your qustion, last week I tried with my friend to upgraded my O2 xda II by English Language (UK) rom upgrade, but did not worked and always gave us massage Error Code 120.
Regard to a 3th party software is not free and I will try to buy it as soon as possible.
and do you Know any other free program can help for changing language instead of 3th party software and do you know some one has an experience at the same problem?
I've done that job serveral times. Just get the ROM you want, use ER2003 to modify it then install.

I have a chinese phone (Eclipse Novus Dual Sim) with android 2.2 and i'm trying to install greek language for menus, notifications etc. I have installed morelocale 2 and other similar apps without any results. In morelocale 2 when i choose greek language it shows me the available languages in greek but the menu and the notifications are in english. Is there any possible way to install my native language to this phone?

I was wondering if there is any rom that come with spanish language included on it, cause a friend just got his gtablet but the only language in settings are US English and UK English.
Please let me know what rom to use to get spanish or multilanguage as soon as possible..

I just find out by taking a chance and flashing CM7 that every modded rom has all languages enabled. Close this topic please and excuse me.
hi everybody. now i'm using DSC 0.65b after having used streakdroid 2.4.4 and i can say can both roms, even if rarely, have some reboots by themselves. instead of these minimal problems, i love both of them alot. now i'm curious to try the stock olleh 407, but i would like to know if this rom has even italian language or not.
Stock 407 languages: English and Korean. The custom ROMs have the various languages, thanks to Google releasing the sources.
I was flashing my new rom, but after failrules, I wanted to go back to the official rom, I've done everything correctly, Android works, but without Czech language for display. Support for Czech keyboard etc. works, but I can not see Czech menu. Someone help me?
