Sensors are shot, low call volume, gps is usually pretty good after GPS aids and changing ntp settings but some can have issues, broken wifi when flashing so you have to flash kernel after the rom, aside from those everything else is pretty much gravy. Head over to the thread most people love the speed of the rom in conjunction with glitch's kernel.

Hi guys,
I've noticed that the past week or so my phone will simply not wake up for calls.
The call goes through and rings on the other end, but nothing happens for my phone. I don't even get a missed call notification.
I am running Superclean 2.92 and Nitro's Honeycomb theme, with JT's kernel. I was using the Comavolt kernel, but I thought that it may be undervolt-related, so I switched kernels. No dice, still has the same problem. I also wiped davlik and cache. I do not use SetCPU.
Anyone here have any idea what's going on? Any suggestions?
I had the same result from flashing the minimalist theme for EB01, but a reinstallation of the theme fixed it. The cause can vary a lot, so I suggest just reinstalling everything from stock or one by one, rather than troubleshooting

Did u happen to solve this problem ??
I m facing the similar issue with my phone now .. it doesnt wake up for calls and i dono why. It is currently runnin ED03 radio, CommRom 2.0 with OTB 1.6 kernel
Running OMFGB 1.2.0.
Whenever I attempt to use Navigation, GPS locates me like it should, navigation begins then GPS is lost and never reconnects. Appears I am not the only one with this issue. Two others posted in actual OMFGB development thread, but no responses.
I really enjoy this ROM, but need to get GPS to work correctly.
Any ideas???

There was a GPS bug located in CyanogenMod that has been fixed in all of the CM7 ROMs, as fas as I know. This was also an issue with the Froyo CM6 ROMs (and, I think, even the Conap's Eclair CM5 ELB.) See this post in the GSB thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11377484&highlight=gps#post11377484
Anyway, try one of the CM7 ROMs instead, if you do a lot of Navigation.
Yeah this is a problem with both omgb and omfgb. note that the gps signal is not lost, but the navigation app stops communicating. I prefer omgb over cm7 because the exchange mail actually works. Unfortunately, the developer of these roms is not as responsive as some other devs. If you haven't tried gsb, I would. Everything but exchange mail works.

Edit - I tested a bit more. Gps status does not lose fix, but navigation and maps do after 5 or so.

I ended up going back to CM7. I really liked the default load of OMFGB. Didnt have to tweak all the screens and settings, but oh well. I got CM7 almost where I want it.
Thanks!
3 Different ROM GPS not working
I tried 3 different ROMS for gingerbread OMGB, Condemned CM7 and GingerTaz 27 and in all of them I cant get google maps and Osmand to connect to satelitte. It keep losing GPS connection after 2 minutes and never been able to reconnect.
everytime I flash the rom I did full wipe (data, cache and dalvik).
Is there any gingerbread Rom that I can try which has the GPS problem corrected ?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, I'm on V3.3 and GPS worked flawlessly today...
...as for on performance. I am running it at 787Mhz/480Mhz ONDEMAND and seems to be ok.

Similar experience here with several GB rom (by Tazz, CS, Mac & OMGB/OMFGB - GPS would usually start & work - but if I start driving away in NAV (within Car Mode or standalone, even in Map mode) - it will announced "GPS Signal loss .... screen display Searching GPS, etc." & won't regain functionality - even if I were to pull over and use GPS Tool to reset/download fresh datasets. I gave up - been careful & spending time doing a full SD wipe, clearing cache data & dalvik and checking/verifying all the steps - all of the developers are working hard on solutions & resolve the issues.
GSB seemed to be most reliable, V3.3 was excellent as I used it last week on a 3 hour freeway road trip and it never once lost signal/navigation - used it alongside the old trusty Garmin unit. Grabbed & flashed the latest V3.4 GSB release and it's just as good, if not better, for other minor fixes - not running the Super Charger script, bumped Performance setting up one notch to 710/480 and Boot reset, JIT off and everything else default. Using moderate ATK setting only - and I'm getting very good results overall on this GB custom ROM. Very responsive & I'm not going to push the speed any higher as it is excellent in my scoring of this "EOL" device with zero trade-in value to VZW, LOL.
Let's keep in mind that all of these GB roms are basically all work in progress, not exactly "Final Release" but seemed to be getting close to being declared a "finished product" ready for prime time, but GSB is my "biased" preference as a daily rom over the others.
Hi, i was experiencing an issue when connecting my phone to the car bluetooth radio... It actually connects and i can play sounds but here is the problem: whenever it plays a sound or when i use gps with voice directions, the sound comes out but its cut... for example, gps says "Turn left" but in car loudspeakers i hear "rn Left"... it is like if the bluetooth had a delay in transmit the audio or something like that.. please help me
thnx in advance
Are you using andy rom cause I hear there is a bluetooth bug with the quality

Ohh, i forgot to say that i have stock rom... i'm waiting for gingerbread
Well, maybe is a problem with rom, i hope it will be fixed in gingerbread, or i'll move to a modded rom
I has that trouble with stock gingerbread rom leaked. If you are using the same rom from the factory, maybe an update could help you.

You cannot install any custom kernel on that. Custom kernel -> no GSM.
Well, i installed 2.2.2; 2.2; 2.2 Noejn devoid froyo final, and guess what, the bluetooth issue is still there, i think i should give 2.3.3 a try, or install cm7....

I have run several kernels over stock 2.2 and over CM7RC1 and never lost GSM. I have heard that data is affected in some scenarios, so if that is what you mean I did not test that. I do not pay for data.
Well, finally i installed mik_os rom and bluetooth issue i had was finally gone BUT, i've just found that i cant do bluetooth calls with CAR radio thats very dissapointing since i use car everyday and need bt call over radio, and if i dont find a way to solve this i'll need to go back to a 2.2 or something.... any help? i'll try another kernel and see if it works
PS: Cyanogenmod = best thing since sliced bread IMHO!!!, waiting for a fix to be perfection1!!
The only workaround that i can think right now is to use a noiseless mp3 and repeat it forever... In fact i already did it, and well its a dirty dirty workaround but it works anyway.... Bluetooth stays "active" all the time, thus not taking a delay when recalling it and eating portions of sound
Is there such a thing? Wanted to know because I'm missing my GPS right now with some of the roms that I'm running (MIUI, Simple Honey). Please advised and thanks.

Simple Honey 3.9.1 Rom has a working GPS. You need to keep GPS on and it works well. If you turn off GPS, you will need to reboot before GPS works again. This works for me.

Trigger Redux GPS appears to work. I was even able to turn it off and on and it still worked.

There were questions about how this fix might effect battery life, but it is to early to tell.
Yep,Trigger Redux GPS works great for me too
am having problems with my location services on Cm9. 04.. I have made it so it will use my wireless network. The it however is not working.. Is there a fix and is anyone else having this problem?
We aren't the only ones. No fix I know.
Bill
I thought it was a kernel problem until I tried Keithn's AOKP. I guess something just isn't working in that ROM. You can try Keithn's AOKP if you want working location services.
Thanks, I guess it will be working when the ICS kernal version comes out. I am usinf CM7 as daily for now.
