[Q] removing slide lockscreen - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm using the new 2.3.3 GB on my phone, really nice...
Only problem I find is that it's impossible to remove the slide lockscreen.
I use pattern lock, but every time I unlock the phone I need to slide unlock and then input the pattern.
Is there any way to remove the slide lock so I only have to input the pattern?
Hope anyone can help me...
Thank's

No one knows how to do that?
Just wanna disable the sliding lock screen to have only the pattern one!

Lockscreen

Hey there,
Probably a stupid question but when I add a pattern lock to my phone I lose the default lock screen.
When pressing the unlock button:
Without pattern lock - there are two sliders, unlock and sound on/off
With pattern lock - it goes straight the enter pattern thing.
I want to have a pattern, but also have the sliders, how can I do this?
Cheers!

[Q] Lock screens?

I have the phone set to pattern lock. So when I turn it on, I first have the HTC slide down lock, then the actual lock screen.
Is there a way to disable the slide down lock and only have the pattern lock screen appear?

[Q] WidgetLocker full screen slider?

I'm looking at using WidgetLocker to replace the lockscreen on the Note. But one of the things I love about the default lock screen is that I can slide my figer anywhere on the screen to unlock it.
Is there anything like that with WidgetLocker or any way to configure it?
Yes I've been looking for that too...hopefully someone will have a suggestion.

use shortcuts with Pattern Unlock lock screen?

is it possible to have shortcuts with the Pattern unlock lock screen?
I would like to have shortcurts to the Camera and Dialer while still have security provided with a Pattern unlock.
Is this possible with a completely stock (no rooting no anything) S III on Verizon?
Or do I need to install one of those lock screen apps? I'd prefer to remain completely stock for now if possible..

If you had shortcuts of any kind, that would kill the security.........
I wish Google would implement their Touch Gesture Actions From A Device’s Lock Screen idea asap... providing shortcut functionality without sacrificing security would be better than those 3rd party lock screens.

Not sure about defining shortcuts. but i used pattern lock and if I hold finger on screen, rotate to landscape, then swipe pattern, it launches camera.
if i have a missed call or text there is a circle on the lock screen with the qty and if i swipe off that circle then enter pattern it takes me right to that app (missed calls or messaging).

I don't care about security for the camera or dialer.
I know there is the camera motion shortcut thing but I like the clickable widget better. I want to have the capability to define widgets on the lock screen like you can when you don't have any security. But I want it with the pattern unlock. I guess this is not available out of the box? And needs a special app?

I would like the same thing... you can get it on the standard swipe to unlock so why not the pattern lock... I have tried various lockscreens but their not without their flaw...
Widget locker.. has lots of customisation and you can add custom sliders and widgets but... its buggy prone to crashing and takes a fair bit of tweaking to be secure (ie if you dont select correct setting you can unlock with just the home key) , sometimes have to unlock twice and it always request superuser access even when the phone is in standy ... so drains battery more than it should.
Go Locker - didnt like this at all just didnt seem secure... first version could be bypassed easily... plent of themes though if security is not a priority.

Unlock screen help

I have been using a pattern to unlock my phone when the screen turns off.
All of a sudden I am now first having to swipe a picture that looks like a lock to the right and then use my pattern to unlock the phone.
How do I get rid of the lock swipe so that I only have to draw my pattern?
I have attached a pic of the lock screen that I am trying to remove, not sure how it was turned on
