Applanet idea - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

Not sure if this has been done or not, but if there was a way we could use our android phones as a remote for our tablets to control things like the music player or set up to mimic of the tablet interface on the phone (this probably would be an ICS software trait I would think). I want to mount my flyer in my car to bluetooth my music to the headunit but would be nice to control it from my phone that sits in my lap.

Is there currently any possibility to have both TV out (via 3.5 mm headset jack) and Wiimote support?
The combination would make the Galaxy S a perfect retro gaming console.
Its in cyanogenmod settings. On cm settings go to display and there it is. Make sure your animations are on all in tge regular fisplay settings. Also make sure if animations are at normal in display.

How do I answer calls using my headphones?

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to answer calls using my headphones with the mic and the little call button. I run with my thunderbolt and I like just being able to press the little button to answer calls, but I haven't been able to do it on my thunderbolt. It worked on my droid 1 once I got froyo and it worked on my samsung fascinate, but I haven't been able to get it to work on my thunderbolt. Does anyone know if there is hack to be able to do this or maybe I am missing something simple in the menu options. Anyway if anyone know a way to do this, that would be great. Thanks again for all of your help in the past and all the help I am sure I will need in the future.
I also had the Droid 1 and it worked for me on Gingerbread. Now i have the thunderbolt and it didn't work on Froyo and it still doesn't work on Gingerbread. This is a feature i really liked and hope to see it on my TBolt
I would LOVE to have this work. Every wired headset I get disintegrates in a matter of weeks. I've heard this is supposed to work, but never heard a solution.
Some headsets work for me and some dont. Weird.

Allow me to be the first to show your thanks button some love. This worked for me. I recently purchased a pair of Monster beats that I boxed up to return because the mic button worked to skip tracks but not answer calls, but these same heaphones work great on my buddy's EVO. The headphones stay, just wish they weren't the Lebron James beats , Knicks fan all the way
Sorry, I meant tty, it should be off, change it from tty off to try vco

Homescren landscape mode in dock, why not without?

When I place the device in the factory desktop dock, the homescreen rotates into landscape mode. Is there no way to do this when not docked? Clearly the phone is capable. Stock and unrooted...unfortunately.

if rooted, it's possible, yes.
Also if you use a diferent launcher.

There is an app in the Play Store that will make it go to landscape. Can't think of the name right now but I will post it if I think of it.

Yeah I can't remember the name but it was discussed in themes and apps at one point
It's called "ultimate rotation control". Works great on the stock device.

JB sound question

Hey everybody! I just switched from gingerbread to jb and I turn up the volume and I see that I can control all the volumes, which is cool, but I only want to change the sound for media and not ringtone and anything. So is there anyway to only turn up media like it is on gingerbread.
Sent from my YP-G70 using xda app-developers app
Not that I know of. I've had this problem too. But JB is worth it.
Sent from my YP-G70 using xda app-developers app
It will default to sound when media is playing. But no, I don't think you can change it without changing the actual ROM build.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Make sense but since I just either have notifications on or off, it'd be nice to have it like gingerbread

This may be a question to ask the developer in the specific thread that the ROM is updated in. or at least search in the thread to see if anyone else has asked.

How to use headset controls on CM10?

So I recently purchased a pair of Samsung earphones with the two volume controls and a third button and was wanting to control my music with it. Unfortunately I couldn't get them to work and was wondering if anyone here knew a workaround.

I wanna say that the functionality would need to be built into the kernel in order to register the button presses and have them trigger some action, but don't quote me on that...at the very least you would need to have an app running in the background for it to work since it doesn't sound like android supports it natively. Is there a list of compatible devices on the packaging?
