Hi, I’ve problem with this game.. I’ve stock 2.3 and I already played this 4 or 6 times on this GB. But now, if I want play it, game always saying me „”Application Modern Combat 2 (process com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftBPHP.ML) was closed. Try again.”" I don’t know why, I didn’t do anything… Do you know, where can be problem? Thank you
BTW: this game worked on 2.3 very very smoothler than on 2.1, it was amazing!

Just wondering who else and if anyone has figured out a way to get some games working on GB coming from a Froyo ROM.
In my case I have GT Racing HD and Modern Combat HD bought and downloaded from Gamesoft that work just fine on a 2.2 Froyo ROM but everytime I test out a 2.3.4 GB ROM and reinstall I get "Game is not authentic" pop up and game closes.
I was just wondering if anyone had figured out a workaround for the GB Roms.

Yeah i bought Modern Combat HD as well and found out it doesn't work.
So I went on and pirated one, I mean what did it matter? I bought it anyways.
i'm having the similar issues with all games except for words with friends. Whenever i go to open Angry Birds or Plants vs. Zombies/Pop Cap games, my phone freezes and then it reboots itself. Maybe 2.3.4 roms require too much RAM?

No Angry Birds should definitely be working, it works just fine on mine, actually all the games downloaded from the market are ok, it's just the gameloft ones that won't recognize the new ROM version.

Hi, since ICS rollout, i've upgraded to it. So, the thing is, when i did have my Galaxy S2 i bought some games, and now with my RAZR i can't play some of those games, like NFS Hot Pursuit, 9mm, NOVA2, Play Store says my games are not compatible with the device.
So, what can i do? When i was in Gingerbread i had this same problem with Asphalt 6, but when i upgraded to ICS Asphalt 6 is now playable. So i think that i really can play thos other games. But how to by pass this? How to remove this restriction?
Anyone???

Did you ever make a ti backup while you were using a compatible device? If you did you could restore app & data and it should run fine. If not you could search out how to make a build.prop edit to spoof a compatible device, be sure to copy your original and name it build.prop.bak first.

I tried changing ro.product.name and brand for Samsung's GT-I9100 (tried i9100 too and samsung in caps and not) but nothing, erased cache of Play Store but nothing, i now that editing build.prop is working cuz i did it with lcd density and it changed so is nothing to do with Root Browser and file not saving well or anything like that.
But, wanna play my games, wanna play NOVA2, Modern Combat 2, Need For Speed, 9mm, i payed for those games, too bad that a great device, a powerful device like the RAZR "can't" handle this games.
Finally did it!
Just edited the ro.product.model / brand / name / device lines in build.prop tu Nexus S and samsung, so now got all the games 9mm is working perfectly, not need to use Chainfire!

THe free game "Ice Age" is crashing too. The same problem I have on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" too (which is also running at CM9.1 stable)

I've read somewhere that is a gameloft games issue..
I read something here too, but nothing that helps to resolve this issue. I want to play these games without crashes
Combat 3 one i have played on cm9... yeah i know there is a crash but here is what u ve to do-
1. Start the game, u ll expwrience the crash.
2 now press the home button for a while until u see the recent tabs....
Select the mortal combat3 tab from there...
Yeah its kinda ****ty solution but worked for me
If still doesnt work then maybe try changing kernel or somethin and oc to 1.2 or 1.3 and then try!
But i was able to play at 1.2 ghz
Well for me, turning on the internet connection solved the problem...but...questions like this should go to the Q&A section...
So I have bought Modern Combat 4, six-guns, gta vice city (i know it's not a gameloft game) and many others. They don't work! I get a black screen with all of them and when it finally crashes it says "unfortunatley blah blah blah has stopped working." Please help me! I am going on a trip and will be on a bus for like 12 hours and need some entertainment! They work on my Nexus 4! I want the big screen though, please if you know how to fix please reply. By the way I have done many factory resets, reinstalled cm 10 multiple times, wiped data, wiped cache ( on tablet and app) and many other things. I have gone into the obb file and it says cannot open as text because of error!
Modern combat 3 and Gangstar Rio work fine on CM 10.1 and it is a great stable rom, not sure about other games you listed but Shadow Gun, NBA Jam and most other games I've tried work fine.

When I got my sola, I was excited about gaming, so I downloaded some cracked apks (just to try the games i want to buy). The first, was my favourita android racing game, Asphalt 7. It lagged like hell. It was unplayable. I asked the dear XDA Sola/U users, about their asphalt 7 experiences. Everyone said that it runss smoothly for them, so I decided to buy Asphalt 7 in Play Store. It downloaded the data, the game started, first track: Hawaii, minor lags, was still playable though, but then, when I tried london, It was just f*in unplayable laggy. The game ran smoothly for 2 sconds, but after that, 1 second freezing teleporting uber lagging, just couldn't control it. I'm just f*ckin pissed off, because when I used asphalt 7 on my ray, which theoritically has a weaker gpu (Quallcomm Adreno 205) than sola (ARM Mali 400), It runned buttery smoothly. Gamers, please tell me which rom/kernel do you use to play Asphalt 7 smoothly, and if you can please send me your deviceconfig.xml, and deviceprofile.xml files if you desire, any help appreciated! I'm at Stock GB + cile381 kernel ATM.

You can do Titanium Backup of Asphalt and after backup
wipe phone.
Install TB and recover Asphalt. If your problem isnt fixed you can flash Play Rom
and recover Asphalt.
I had Play Ron and i could play these games without lags: Nova3, MC4, NFS MW, Gta 3 and my favorite My Little Pony
