Hey everyone, I've installed Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.1 a couple of weeks ago, but 2 "problems" arose:
- I cannot get the vibrate-function working.. I've searched everywhere to enable this when receiving a phone-call/text, but nothing seems to work
- Sometimes I find my WiFi enabled, even though I disabled it.. I cannot find the setting that prevents this automatic WiFi connection
Can someone help me?

Since about a week ago my SGS2 answer an incoming calls with the speakerphone turned on by default, and there's no way I can change it.
I use lightning rom 1.5 for a few months and everything was perfect until now.
Please help!

Oh I had this same issue just last week, out of nowhere. Here's what I did: plug the USB cord in & out the phone a few times, it should get okay. Just google it too, there's a bunch of HTC users who have reported the same issue but the plug in/out solution works for S2 as well.
Do you all use Go SMS Pro?....if so then its a software issue...
Update the application to the latest one and your issue will be resolved.
I used to have Go SMS pro, but I removed it long ago.
I heard about the problem it makes - similar to mine, so I tried to install and uninstall it again, but it didn't help.
I tried the USB connect/unconnect advice - didn't help.
I tried to install several auto-speakerphone apps to bypass the problem
Most didn't succeed, except from "save your brain" that worked OK for a while and than stopped. It also had annoying notification icon, and many Chinese notes, so I uninstalled it too.
Can't find the solution yet
I'd love more suggestions.

i had the same issue for about the same period, it started kinda a week ago, but in the past days i noticed that it just returned to normal
i updated gosms on 29aug to the last version, i guess this was all the fix i needed, stock 2.3.3 atm

I Managed to solved the problem using Elixir widget.
One of the possible widgets is Speaker widget.
Once I turned it off - the problem stopped.
Hurray.
So I flashed this rom this week and I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with incoming calls? When I tried calling myself from another phone, it takes like 5 or 6 rings to get my SGSII to ring. Also the screen doesn't come on to show me who is calling. It will just vibrate... Is this a known bug?

Answer settings
Turn off enforce proximity sensors
(New build 2.11.26 seems that turning on works intead off)
The proximity sensors will still work after changing the setting
Reboot
I just installed the new modem on mine and the call volume seems much improved, but I had installed the fix from the dev forum a couple of hours ago and really didnt test it much...Big issue I have noticed is the screen doesnt wake on incoming txt messages - you experienced this?

I am facing an issue with wifi direct which is kinda weird,
I can normally turn it on, and connect to other devices and even send, but i cannot however receive anything...
my friend tries to share something with wifi direct , and finds my name under list of available wifi direct devices.
I get the popup to accept the connection, and then his phone goes into waiting
and my phone never shows the pop up to accept or cancel
So my friend's phone keeps waiting.
It was already working normally, dunno why it isnt anymore
I can normally send stuff however using wifi direct. so at least i can tell it isnt a hardware issue
I am using checkrom v4 mod with speed mod kernel
and i already wiped both dalvik and cache partitions
also i tried to change themes and kernels with no luck
Any body has any idea what i can do to debug this?

I have recently gotten an s2 and flashed it with cm7. Wondering around i came across an option that made the wifi and Bluetooth turn on automatically when plugged into a power source and decided to check it out. I have since tried to find where i did that in order to undo it and I JUST CANT FIND IT! Its driving me mad! I have looked everywhere that has to do with settings! Does anyone know where i can undo it?

Hello today i realised that when im hitting to turn on the Wifi from Quick menu it starting to switching On/Off and cant be stabilized. Anyone has the same problem or someone knows a way to solve my problem?
