[Q] HTC View & Google Voice - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

I bought a used HTC Evo View 4G and I was wondering why can't I find Google Voice app on the market?

because the device is not a telephone which google voice requires to function
you can install the app on another phone and backup the apk and install it manually or you can get it from this thread (next time use search)

Default Bluetooth Voice Search

Hi,
Trying to set my default Bluetooth voice search to Google Voice search.
1. settings - voice input - default set to google. (only options google and vlingo)
2. default apps cleared
3. When activating voice search, under " Complete Action Using" I only have 3 options. Vlingo, Vlingo in car, and Voice Commands. Google is not listed.
I have uninstalled Google Voice Search and reinstalled it to no avail.
4.5.91
2.3.4
No roms, Proms
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Is it possible to turn off S-Voice completely and use Google Now completely?

As topic, is it possible for Google Now to be activated through main Bluetooth Activation buttonDefault?

New Google Maps V.7.00.

Here is the New Google Maps Ver. 7.00
If you are running Android Ver 4.1+ download this apk
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ycdvwzee07g64f4/com.google.android.apps.maps-7.0.0-700002504.apk
If you are running Android Ver 4.2 download this apk

From what I have noticed is it takes away the Navigation and Places Icon as it is all in the Maps app now. Also Latitude is gone from the app and you can no longer access your Location History from the App itself.
I didn't like the way you control the street view on this maps app

I got the update thru the Play Store and now Maps isn't able to communicate with my contacts. Anyone else having this problem?
I can no longer search a list of my contacts to get directions or go to my contact's details and click on their address to get turn by turn directions.

I have noticed this as well, although I've never used it, but I'm sure for those that did its a hassle
Life is too short to be unhappy
Thanks for the confirmation. I chose to revert back to an old version of Maps for now. Titanium Backup saves the day once again!
Is this the one with Latitude removed?

Google 4.4 dialer

Is it possible there, and i the Google dialer on a carrier phone? I have it on there and I can run it but it's not the default. When I dial, and receive calls it is still the old HTC screens. People icon goes to HTC people as does any app that links to contacts. But in the Google dialer , when I run it directly, it is the. Google version of the contacts.
I had the same issues as you with it and no favorites or recently contacted
