[HOW-TO] [TEAM XPOSED] Hide various Icons from the Status Bar - HTC EVO 3D

I will post more methods here when they are discovered.
The goal of this it to provide one thread to describe edits to remove any of the status bar icons.
If you know how to hide the battery please send me the details via PM so I can add to this reference guide (you will be given credit of course!).
This reference guide is to tell you exactly what to edit to accomplish a MOD to a status bar icon, it is not an all-inclusive how-to on adb, decompiling/recompiling apks, etc. There are already several very good sources right here on XDA for that information.

Disable AM/PM indicator?

I was under the impression that Gingerbread didn't have AM/PM in the 12 Hour time format.
Coming from other Android devices, I've seen mods to remove the numbers, but I thought it was a default in Gingerbread. Is there a simple way to remove or disable it?
CM7 has this feature but its not present in samsung roms
This very talented modder

has removed the clock from the status bar he may be able to help you remove am/pm but afaik it involves editing xml files.
this is his mod thread

Status bar icons...

Is there a thread, or a page with some info on removing different status bar icons? I'm looking to remove the USB debugging, and alarm clock icons. I've searched but all I could find was the guides for sense and I'm on CM.
I know you can hide the USB debugging in CM settings. But I would like to modify the code myself.

Go into framework-res and make all the files you don't want transparent. It might leave blank space in the status bar. If it does, delete the files you don't want. I don't know if it will work or if it will give you errors.
Yeah, it leaves the spaces. I would like to know how to remove them and the spaces. I know its possible on sense roms...

Theme/Mod Buffet

Concept of this thread to give choice to users, who want to stay on stock ROM but just want to add mod/theme according their own choice. May be this thread itself have all mods/themes already on theme section, but to make it centralize and select requires stuff under same roof
What I am initially plane is to categorize thread in 3-4 section
1.Add On - You can add stuff without affecting existing mods
A.Xposed base
B.Vrtheme
2.Single Mod - just for single application
3.Mixed Mod
This may takes time to upload but i think this will be a step in right direction to get mod/theme easier way to newbies.
then i will needs your suggestion and help to collect more stuff

[MOD REQUEST] Search Bar included in Notification Area

Hello,
is there a mod (xposed module e.g.) that modifies the notification area to show a search bar? Basically I want to pull down the notification bar and there shall be the search bar instead on my home screen.
I have searched for it quite a while now, but without any success. As I am not into software development I am not able to build a corresponding mod on my own, therefore I would highly appreciate if anyone can do so. :fingers-crossed:

How to hide audio profile icons in the status bar?

Hello folks
As a Deaf person I always put my phone (Fairphone, Android 4.2.2) in the silent mode. Unfortunately the system displays an icon for that silent audio profile in the status bar.
That icon steals space and I do not want to see it at all. No need to remind me that the phone is in silent mode.
Been searching through many many Xposed modules but none are capable of it.
Any clues how I can do it?
Thanks!
Michael
"Notify clean" was made just for this.

Great, thanks heaps man!
Wrong, this app cannot help
Hmmm, we are wrong, this app, NotifyClean cannot hide the audio profile icon!
I tried it many times with different settings and multiple reboots. Doesn't work.
I know it is two years later, but for what is worth, you can make disappear that icon in several ways:
- Try the app Flat Style Bar Indicators, the Pro version includes hiding audio icons (silence and vibrate). The app also changes other icons (even if you don't want to).
- Substituting the icon file, which will still occupy space in the statusbar. You can do it with the app SystemUI Icons or transferring a new .png file into your SystemUI.apk package.
- Decompile your SystemUI.apk and change the smali code that makes it appear (I recently explored this to make disappear an audio icon, it is complex but a neat solution):
