So i'm working on making a custom boot animation for the EVO 3d. I was just wondering what you guys think of having it play in landscape instead of portrait because its a video clip. Or maybe everyone would like both. Idk that's why I'm asking. Give me some input plz thank you.

I make mine in landscape , unless someone ask for it in portrait cause it looks less smashed together that way.

Hey I was wondering if someone could develope, or knows of, a Camcorder application that has a PAUSE feature instead of just stop? I am interested in trying to make some stop motion recordings if it will work right...

Anyone else agree? Is there anyone that can do this, or know something that will work? It would be cool and alot easier to do if you could just push pause while recording. I haven't even started making any videos, just thought this would be a kool idea if someone could make it and would be some good motivation.

You're just making a nice vid of the most beautiful landscape you've ever seen with your HD2 ...
... and suddenly you notice "DAAAAMN ... I got to fart!" now you could stop the recording, but the landscape will be ruined and you will have 2 split-files. You could also just fart, but that way you will not be able to show the vid to your in-laws.
So what to do ?
I need this feature. Everyone does!

I think thats impossible, i mean those small compact cameras cant even burst.
Because it has to autofocus and it reading the sensor will go too slow to actually burst. That's what i think, owning both a dslr and compacts.
Haven't been here for a while, anything happenin' on this feature yet?

I'm pretty sure my old Nokia 3650, when I first got a cell phone, had this feature... Our phones nowadays may be getting smarter, but they sure are losing some of the coolest features and conveniences!!!
Hi everybody, im wondering if anyone would be able to pull and post their browser.apk here for me (from fission vanilla and the stock if at all possible)!? Im active in the evo 4g sections and unfortunately, all the sense based browsers are difficult because of one function, PINCH TO ZOOM! Stupid HTC has is set by default(and cannot be permanently changed) to rejustify text on pinch to zoom, which doesnt sound bad, but trust me, makes for an AWFUL experience trying to browse the web. Every time i try to zoom in on a button or on a picture or anything, it gets moved 2 or 3 screens over... I cant TAKE IT!!! so it would be lovely if any of you wonderful people might be able to help me out and ill see if i can get that baby installed one way or another, thank you!
Not sure if the Browser.apk from our phones will work on yours. Try downloading and extracting the apk from one of the roms posted in the D2 development forum. Stock is Blur-based and definitely won't work, but you can try Fission (Vanilla). Might work for ya. Good luck!

thank you very much for the link! and i honestly would've gotten it myself had i realized it was as simple as yoinking it from the zip lol. somehow i didnt think you'd be able to get very far into the rom without it being flashed, but i guess it just shows how much i am at the mercy of everybody here still, thank you again!

i opened the read me file in logoreplacer.zip and started to read and wanted to figure out how to make my own logo replacer. well i went into this pretty blind and googled some things but it came out very well and thankfully didnt need to sbf or anything like that but i thought id share with you guys (and im sorry ladies if this offends you) my very own logo replacer. if this is inappropriate i apologize ahead of time but i figured some may get a kick out of it but i personally love this logo replacer. the zip works out fine but you must be rooted and boot into recovery as most people should know. thanks for looking

Yeah np guys, its actually really easy to do so if there's ANY picture you would want as a boot logo i can make it but im no photoshop expert but just use regular old paint on windows but if there's something you'd like me to try to make, post a link so I can see what I can come up with

I did have the Phone.apk for this --> but it was for the OG Evo---so I'd doubt it'll work

In short, I'm extremely sick of my iOS device and wanna move on yet I adore one thing that kept me from doing it..
See, I'm a person who types a lot, corrects a lot, copies, pastes.. etc.. So the 3D touch track-pad was like heaven to my fingertips.. you force touch the screen and viola, u get your line selected.. push a little bit further and you get to copy your line!
I need a similar function on an Android device please in case you know any.. :fingers-crossed:
