So since I've got my phone I've installed on 8 different browsers and still can't decide which one to use as my main one. So which browser do you use and why?
Dolphin mini because stock don't have a fast ua switch
Opera is the fastest but don't have a good configurable ua and there is no way to make it work at least for me btw opera is the fastest in all

Miren browser,

Miren here too, although the stock one is really nice and smooth so I switch between them a lot...
I use Opera Mobile, couldn't stand dolphin.
Dolphin was great in earlier android devices. But is horrible now. Stock browser works great.

Definitely the stock SGS II Browser for me. on my SGS I went with dolphin. But the SGS II browser is so much better. They've tidied it up and now can finally open 8 tabs very very stable and fast.
I'm loving the browser the most! + due to Samsung's Exynos chip my SGS II renders pages apx 1.5 times quicker than my sgs on the same wifi network
i dont understand how you can use a browser except stock browser.it is the fastest smoothest browser.no lag nothing.stock browser's amazing performance was the reason for me to buy SGS2.
dolphin mini all the way

only one i tried was opera mobile but i couldnt get the flash to work ?
And with the stock browser i tried acid3test and it scored 93/100 and opera got 100/100 lol i dont know.
Any browsers that get a 100/100 in acid3 and have full flash support, or am i just a noob and not know how to activate the flash on opera?
Miron or Stock work great
Miron used to be far better but not any more.

Two friends one who has a sgs and the other iphone were amazed @ my stock browsers speed. We were all on same wifi at my friends house.
Seriously it is SGSII's best feature.
I'm not forcing you to use it, just don't rule it out thinking it'll be just like sgs stock or android stock browser before installing your own. Have a try, with bookmarks and everything. You might change your mind ☆★☆★☆

Stock Browsers really nice, it's a shame though that it's a hassle getting to the tabs.
btw. Can anyone find a 'history' option?

....you don't have to scroll up to press the bookmark tab.
When your surfing anytime just press menu key and it pops up automatically. Now you can choose bookmarks -most visited-history

Stock browser looks like its the only one hardware accelerated. Wish there was a way to find out more info about this.
I switch between Firefox mobile and Opera Mobile. I've never even heard of Dolphin, I'll have to give it a try now!
Firefox crashes pretty often, but I still find myself using it more than the others.
I've done the hundreds of tests and stock browser is the fastest
Too bad
there's not a user settings like desktop or ipad et cetera.
Unfortunately you're stuck with mobile version sites in many instances.

I'm using Dolphin because of this issue.
everytime i open the dam thing i have to type this in, frankly it sucks. if this was fixed i'd switch back to stock browser.
I can't search in the XDA forum using the tablet. Is there a solution for this problem?
I don't have a problem searching on xda with my tablet.

Are you using Dolphin? Thats a known issue with dolphin.
Try using the XDA app instead of browser.
I have the same problem with the dolphin browser i get around it by quickly clicking the advanced search option, it is a little more tedious but at least i can search.
I am not really a fan of the xda app so this is the best working option for me right now.

Me to. Dolfin and now rooted still have the problem
Search button closes as soon as the keyboard pops up. Happens to me in Dolphin and regular browser.
Use opera. Its the type of webkit that the stock browser and dolphin uses. For some reason opera uses a different webkit. It seems to be a bit slower when loading web pages but its universally compatible with all websites.
1+ if you confirm this.

Anyone have the stock Amaze browser modified or a program to change the user agent?
Wanted something for testing connections.
Saw this article on modifying the browser, but I dont have the spare time yet to do this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265213
Thanks!
Go to your browser and type about:debug on your address bar and press enter. Then go to browser settings. You'll see the option to change user agents.
Awesome, perfectly what I needed.
Or..... Dl skyfire from market and just use the awesome ua button. No need to keep typing that crap over and over.
I'm sorry but htc browser is just complete garbage.
It's 5$ for the full version, well worth it imo.
Dolphin is cool but skyfire imo is just awesomeness.
I hit user agent ONCE did desktop view and I'm gtg, no need to retype.
Oh yeah.....

I disagree. Stock browser is the best browser. It gives you the full experience of a real(desktop)browser. No other third party browser is as great. Why have a 500 dollar smart phone when you're going to use mobile browser and load up mobile versions of the websites? I've tried other browsers, none give you a real web experience. And with the stock browser, you have the best of all world. Real desktop web browsing, mobile and different UA options.

I have never experienced bad lag with skyfire. Only time I have noticed lag is when signal is bad or weak. Never with WiFi or strong signal....
Maybe its your phone!!!!

An extended (touch & hold) on a link will open a context menu. Then select open the link in a new tab. Is what works in Dolphin HD.
I've never used the default browser.

Just tried to do that, but, each time I try for a new tab Dolphin Mini loads and I get the tab in there. I haven't got a lot of good things to say about the stock browser. Probably because I use Dolphin on the phone and also the NT.

I am currently using the stock and the Opera mobile, looks like the former got too many bugs least of which is that can't locate my device for attachments and also doesn't show certain links.
On the other hand the Opera seems stopped supporting Adobe Flash player so no plug ins.
Any browser out there that can do all of this without problem?, thanks.

I find Boat to be the most functional, lightest, and quickest.
Before I just use Dolphin HD but now after all the Mobile and desktop bookmarks are sync I just go all the way Google Chrome
Using Maxthon browser for almost 8 months now, won't ever change it, it is the best browser for me, try it.
Maxthon,ok will give it a try, still couldnt find the perfect one..hope this one is better.
I tried Chrome, but for some reason it feels really laggy on the Note. It worked fine on SGS2 and GNex. So I'm just using stock, I hate the tab management but at least it works fine. Anyone have any browser with desktop/tablet style tabs?

With all their shortcomings I am back to using The Stock Browser and Opera Mobile these two seem to complement each other.
