hello, dear senior members. i have one problem with my xperia x10 that its charging jack is damaged so i cannot connect it with computer i want to know that is that possible to update my phone though sd card

so basically ur phone jacks messed and your wondering if their is an alternative method to update your software?.. if so then yeah, you can go to settings, about phone then software update.. altho no jack would mean you can't root (if thats what what you wanted)

Actually, you can root! Use the standalone .apk method on the Exploid thread.

i had successfully root my phone now i want to flash it to the latest rom update currently my phone is on 1.6 and bb 1.014

Hi, I updated the x10 mini pro to the 2.1 android version, I need a form to obtain the root on the phone. I used the "androot 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 beta" and the exploid metod from the computer. If any have another form to root the phone please coment here

use SuperOneClick here in XDA and follow the instructions. even if it looks it doesnt work, keep on trying. it loops several times till it succesfully roots
when it stops looping ( about 10 mins ), disable & enable the USB Debugging ...and poof ..root

It worked fine for me on a e10i, nordic not branded, it takes a while and I had to try 2 times before it worked...

I'm sorry, my device is the mini (e10i), not the mini pro so I'm not sure you would want to use a e10i build.prop

I just got the Android 2.1 update for my SE x10 mini pro. The update is sweet and phone works quite nice!
But now i cant use universalandroot. I have just tried the newest version of Super One Click, and it just keeps on looping. The phone keeps on making the sound as if i just "connected the phone to my computer".
Does anyone have root for their x10 mini pro v 2.1?? please let me know.
All i want to do is to remove some of the preinstalled apps. They suck :/

Is anyone using Titanium Backup on thier phone?
It seems like the SUper One Click now works. After 5-6 retries. It sometimes froze.
It has installed the SUPERUSER program on my phone and i have allowed Titanium Backup. But Titanium Backup says it doesnt get root

Yes it might loop for 10 minutes. A few things to try.
- Turn USB debug mode on/off
- If in one of the loops it connects and prompts to mount the SD Card (don't)
- Keep connecting the phone over the USB it should eventually work, but you might have to try this whole procedure a couple of times.
It eventually worked for me and I have root.

I got it to work, I had to use Run as Admin on W7 with USB debug and it rooted in 5 tries or less.
I have x10 mini e10i firmware 2.1, any one can help me to root it plz ???

I have an Xperia X10i R4A024, which would be suitable to use to root it?
One Click Root or Z4root? I am confused. I run on 2.1 android.

I used 1 Click Root and it worked fine.
This is my problem, i connected with my USB (U20i)with Cyanogen7 and mounted and they update and they said i had the latest update. i selected X10 Mini Pro and instead after installing, they said i have the latest software with a Xperia W8 logo. Help!!

Install it via latest flashtool
see the sticky thread in the dev setions
im using stock tom 2.3.3 and the bootloader is locked
and i dont know to use flashtools

download flashtool, and run x10flashtool, not so hard to do it, just read the OP in the xperia x10 android development its stand above.
or try my link to unlock you Bootloader then you get xrecovery
it stand in my signature.
Good luck
