Is there any way we can play higher end games on the X10 without lag? Ive seen people on the forums say that some games suddenly stopped working. Games like Backstab, Asphalt 6, NOVA2, Dungeon Defenders, etc. But when I play these games it is pretty laggy. Am I missing something? I am on WB's Stock GB with Speed&Hotfix 005. My quad score is around 12xx
Edit: So after digging around the forums a bit, should I change to WB's 009 rom and use a custom kernel (I heard goro's 360 is the best?). Or should I stay with WB's Stock GB and flash goro's kernel? Which is faster? Which is more stable?

No custom kenrels for 2.3.3 for now.
Custom kenrels overclock our cpu so game performance increases i can easyly Play asphalt 6 on 2.2 with custom kenrel.
But game crashes on loading a race on 2.3
Did you know you can play some of the nvidea tegra games on our x10s such as samurai vengeance 2

Hello, do you experience any lag in Zenonia 2 free version? Zenonia runs great but the second version lags a bit, not really playable when using skills.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: It only seems to happen when using the left touchpad in order to move...
It's mostly because of the touchscreen bug.

im usin void 721 mhz oc with miks kernel )
I'm using stock kernel v10c root, busybox, recovery and apply mik's kernel and everything works fine now even without OC
Hi guys, I can get dundef to work reasonably well on some 2.2 roms....but it completely fails on other roms.
Could you please reply if you have it running well, or at all on your X10 and with what ROM and game settings?

Which 2.2 are you using? on my x10i it doesn't run, on all roms :-(
Perhaps it's a prob of my sd-card ..... only "class2-16gb"

its for nvidia tegra 2 devices the x10 doesnt have the right hardware to play it !

X10 obviously doesn't have Tegra 2, but every version of Dungeon Defenders worked well on my phone with Z's Froyo Beta 4. It would by probably even faster if I had better SD card (I've got 8GB class 2 righ now). The last verion I tried was 5.02, but I haven't noticed any significant improvement in performance nor anything else since version 2.05 (or whatever it was). But it's quite a good game and it may be fun to play it online.

Im running beta 4 rom, and Ive succed to run that game. It just take one hell of a time to install the game! Didnt like the game though

Actually it can run very well on x10 hardware, just that some roms run it better than others.... and some can't run it at all. I have it running on beta 4 2.2 rom, MIUI rom won't start the game as it doesn't recognise the game licence, and 2.3 roms force close the game instantly.

Which rom do you consider the fastest when it comes to playing 3D games? The speed goes up with 2.2 or 2.3 roms, but theyre not capable of flawless gaming (HW related, i know). The main problem are HD games (Miami Vindication, Fast 5 and Asphalt 6) which are the best...
Please dont mention roms wihout ability to take pics/video, or MIUI roms - i really hate their iphone like look, its like having awesome ferrari but covered in feces - no offence to their devs

It's a very speedy 2.2 rom, has multitouch and camera.
WB 3.16 rom.
I play Quake 2 with stencil shadows enabled.
No lags, no crashes.
Im on TripNArc 0.5 (0.9 is out, so im gonna try)
Quadrant - 1202
Linpack - 37.127 MFLOPS
but Miami Vindication lags still, even if not that much
as i read the wolfbreaks cm has fast battery drain problem, but i may try it

I am the one of proud optimus one user...
when i play angiry bird rio in my stock rom(gb 2.3.3) it too much lagy
But my friends Sony errission x8 it will play smoothly(x8 has same configuration of optimus one,HVGA resolution)
What is the reason for lagging and how it will solve
Flash some CM7 ROM + franco's v18.1 kernel and it will not lag.
Flash a custom rom, franco's kernel, overclock your phone and it'll get damn better
BTW don't expect any miracles with the heaviest levels, it will keep lagging a bit but it's not that hardware dependent, imho game physics have been developed very bad...
disable internet when you play it... it lags coz of ads which show up during game play!
don't use official rom from LG. you should use milk_os 's rom
i hv an ipod touch...the 1st gen...n it has a 425 Mhz processor...n it works smoothly...
it is the android touch bug..iOS is beeter coded...

FYI, iOS version of Angry Birds is much more optimized than Android version...
and FYI, there's Angry Birds lite that is an optimized android version and it soooo smooth that it doesnt lag in any level in stock lg froyo rom...
I have noticed games run differently on some rom's for example on cyanogen mod battleheart 1.2 runs smoothly while on Gingerreal it crashes all the time, so which ROM would be best for gaming? thanks alot.
I usually dont play games on my phone but we all tried angry birds and i'd have to say it worked best when i used CM7, was really laggy at some points when running gb.
