Need info about contact in SMS. - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi all,
I have installed Mik_os 6.5.6 on my LG P500H and when i want to send SMS, i don't have the little button linked to contact that i can choose. Someone know if it's an option or it's no longer availlable?
Thanks for your help.

Contact Groups

I'm using KaosFroyo rom and the contacts with this rom don't allow me to group my contacts. Does anyone know if the Taz roms allow grouping in contacts.
It's really a necessity for me with my business.
Thanks!

I don't think that would change the contacts behavior. You may need to try a different dialer off the market. I've used Dialer One in the past, but I don't know if it has that specific feature. Check it out.
I think there is an actual app on the market called Contact Group Manager, though. This might be preferable for you because if you back up the app and it's data, then when you flash a different ROM later you can restore the app and it's data so you don't have to set up your groups again.
Thanks for the input. I don't think Dialer One has that function if I remember correctly, I'll give it another try.
I did download the contact app you recommended and its exactly what I need, but there's a problem... everytime I try to scroll through the contacts (using the scroll tab on the right), it FC's when I hit "H". Not the worst problem, but annoying. Maybe when KaosFroyo releases V39 that might help??

I doubt if a change in ROM or ROM versions would make a difference. Sounds like only a bug in Contact Group Manager. I would contact the dev about it.
Glad I was able to help.
Figured it out. If I keep the sort order set to "default" everything works fine.
I'm a happy camper. Thanks again for the help.

[Q] P500 ringtone fade-in problem

Hello everyone.
Is there a way to turn off the fade-in feature when receiving calls? It's really annoying and not even too smooth. I would prefer having my full volume instead. After mik_os's kernel this is the only thing that is bugging me with the phone.
I believe this is software related and can be fixed with messing in certain config files, right?
+1 if someone do some magic to get back the full volume in lg p500

No.. i have used prime rom but its the same with others..
because there is not a solution yet, you can use the application called "Volume Locker" instead. its on the market.
Just set the notification timeout to zero and select the same ringtone. it works but its not the best solution.

[Q] sms time

Hi guy can someone help me im new to the world of android have the sgs2 rooted etc but can someone tell how to get your sms time as the sent time not the recived it is one of the little pet hate about the phone, have had a look and cant see anything about a fix or is this standered with all android ???
What are you reffering to? The situation when you send a sms and the other part has the phone off and the sms is resent at an interval of time like 1h,6h,1day,1week and maximum? Or are you reffering to schedule sms timer?
In the first case, I think there is no option for that...at least I didn't find it(although I miss it).
In the second case, you solve the problem by installing an app like sms scheduler etc.

Duplicate contacts maybe? Check Contact list, just scroll down and see.
