Can't open android kitchen? - Android

Hey guys. So I have android kitchen extracted into /home/computername/Android.
I open terminal, cd to /home/computername/ and type ./menu and get no such file or directory. What am I doing wrong here?

Hmmm, right click menu.sh goto permissions and make sure execute is enabled.

Navigate all the way into the kitchen. Since you extracted to /home/computername/Android you need to navigate to /home/computername/Android not /home/computername/

Not should, it WILL work.

Please keep the forums clean by posting in the relevant thread rather than starting a new one. Also the kitchen FAQ has your answer.

Can this be used as a flasheable zip? If not is it possible to make one and will this work for CM7?
Would it work on a sense rom?

It doesn't appear to be flashable based on his instructions.

Sense ROM would need this to be installed in a diff. location. but it should work.
Also not sure how its going to look because the resolution is not set to the correct resolution - should be 480x800.
Moved to themes and apps
Looks fine actually I did that on purpose cuz it looked to small to me as said with the sense it should work but my instructions are for CM7 as for flashable honestly I wouldn't try it but if ur feeling froggy or wanna try go for it I'm not responsible thoug

The zip isn't flashable, and even if you tried it would error out and not flash anyway.

[Q] How to Flash Bootloader SBF

How do you flash the zomgunlocklite? RSDLite won't use it.

Yes it does. Make sure you are using the latest version of rsdlite which is 5.3.1 and follow this guide http://briefmobile.com/how-to-unlock-the-atrix-4g-bootloader
I had to add the extension .sbf to the file then I flashed it. RSD said it passed and now the phones fine. I guess it worked. Now I can't do that command for fastboot. I extracted to a folder on my desktop. I guess I don't know what directory to make.

Just put it on your desktop itself no directory thats all.
It keeps saying the system cannot find the path specified.
I typed cd C:\Users\KevinHowe\Desktop\fastboot-package

Did you actually make a floder called fastboot-package or are the files just sitting on the desktop itself? If its in a folder? Then you gotta point to that directory.

Sorry, but my advice is if you are stuck with this, you don't need to try and screw with your phone. You are obviously not technically capable, as the rest of us who are can follow these instructions fine.
Why do you want to unlock your phone at this time? Is it because it seems cool to do so? Why?
I got it working successfully. Thanks guys. And I'm wanting 2.3.4 early.

So all this is so you can tell your friends you got it first? This is a very beta release, and not even for US phones. When you find crap that doesn't work, please search before posting questions on how to make your phone work.

Problem regarding creation of ROM

Hello!
I currently have a new tablet called the PiPo M9 but the manufacturer only gives out ROM's with the 'img' extension instead of the usual .zip
and i can't seem to open them in any way, not by using winrar/7zip/daemon tools etc.
Anyone that could help me out?

You don't sign it at all. And you can't install it. You have to flash it with a zip in recovery.

When i flashed the zip file it installed well in recovery but when i came to the system from recovery i couldn't find the settings apk installed.
Can you create a working signed zip file to flash in recovery for the attached apk.
Thnaks in Advance
There are plenty of tuts on how to do it yourself. The mount points are very different for each device so you will have to get a zip for your device that works and then just add your apk.

First off. No you should never sign a system APK. If you do it will conflict with the system Sig that all system apps use.
I told you once already. You cant install the apk that way. It has to be flashed in recovery.
