The correct answer is No. While this "leaked firmware" seams to have fixed the GPS issue we do not know when it will be pushed out. Based on what I am seeing, it appears to be early beta quality. Figure a couple weeks to flush out issues, ship to the carriers, then the a couple weeks for them to certify it before pushing it out....basically I would say at least a month. However, this "leaked" firmware could be old as well and the carriers may already have it and we could start getting update notices tomorrow. The answer is, nobody on this forum actually knows.

For you. I get unavailable messages. So its not a "for sure" thing. Unless i am doing it wrong.
GPS does not work for me either. After flashing I am seeing 12 satelites. All sats have an snr of 15-25 with zero locked.
I was able to get into lbstestmode using a market app called any cut. All of my settings are set to stock.
It appears that this update is not 100%. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.
op, if you are asking a question please put a question mark in your title so you dont waste peoples time with misleading thread titles. thanks

I tried it and it's working perfectly!
I sent a RemPuzzle.zip (~140mb) to my Nexus 4 and in less than 8 minutes the file arrived. So you wont sent sb. 1GB in less than 5 min.
PS: I'm running Erwin's CM9 but the app supports 2.3+ and in the next few days also 2.2+ and the ROM has to have a wifi thether option otherwise it wont work
Thats what I was saying..Its awesomeness. My current rom has tether borked.
I sent 705 mb using a samsung to another in abt 15 mins..
"If I could I would, but I can't so I shan't."
i can confirm it working as well.

tested on cm9 by ErwinP.
Just looking for something with great battery life and good performance. I'm running CyanogenMod 11. I've heard that the under-clocking when sleeping is useful but I need some more info on the stability of that to be sure. Any tips on kernels would be nice! New to the modding scene so the kernel is the hardest part for me to choose.

I may have flashed TW the first time. I tried the aosp one and it worked. Its weird, when I flash a non-sprint version of things it works better than when I flash spr. Cyanogenmod didnt install until I used the plain ROM. Can you explain that?
This best this or that threads are not allowed. A mod will be along shortly to close it. @kennyglass123

Yes there is a ROM that's for the Fassy but one of the devs is busy working on 5 other devices to port ROM over for the device everything has been updated to 5.0 just waiting on the ROM
How long should we wait?
Until the dev publishes the files. ?
can't wait
how much longer should we wait for this? :crying:
is anyone still going to port lollipop on fassy?

I have bug fixes to do. Spill it bud. Can't fix it if i don't know about it.
I'm really busy with work btw so I haven't done the usual audit yet. Plus I'm a little on the edge. So If I say something dickish don't fret
So it should be today that we get Lollipop. If you have received the OTA let people know here and post screenshots and findings (and URLs..)
wait
Im so excited about it. I hope we dont wait too much.
Yeah me too!
Since my Nexus 7 LTE and Note 4 will take a few more weeks to get the Lollipop glory.
Just done a format and flashed the stock ROM, now battering the check for update button...
Somehow I'm thinking we'll get the factory images sooner than full OTA today or tomorow, and OTAs should start throughout November up until Nexus 9 LTE and Nexus 6 are out
And here's me thinking that I don't know if I care for 5.0 without xposed :/
Oh well I did a nandroid backup so I can always roll back
Flashed back to stock and ready!

I agree, although I read somewhere that ART causes xposed some problems?

As it stands it simply doesn't work with art.
If the dev actually goes back to it to make it work again then it will. For now its simply safer to assume that there shall be no xposed for ART (and therefore 5.0+)
how sure are we that there will be an update today

Unfortunately the situation is not that optimistic, as Rovo89 (the author of Xposed) said:
rovo89 said:
...in short: Wait until the final images and source code drop. Then wait again until it's ready. I can't give any estimation when that will be the case, it depends much on my personal situation. Chance are pretty low that it will be within a month after Lollipop release, and will get higher once I start thinking about flashing a Lollipop ROM myself (which would probably be CM12, and I think these guys won't give us a timeline either, for good reasons). I'm still not 100% sure Xposed for Lollipop will work, but I hope that in some way it will, even if it might not be as compatible with most ROMs and as easy to install as it is for Android 4.x.

We have to wait and keeps fingers crossed.
He wrote that months ago, that's one. Second - ART in the latest dev preview is pretty much finalized. Third - knowing XDA in general, adapting Xposed for 5.0 should not take more than a couple of weeks
