Now that you're unlocked and rooted, why don't you refer back to my initial post to get tethering working.

already have
I've kept abreast of the current state of s-off and root for the past week and have done some searches but haven't seen a concrete answer yet.
Will I still be able to apply the s-off and root method using the prescribed procedures and software considering I've downloaded all the available ota firmware?
Thanks in advance.

What about those of us who didn't install the OTA update? Can we still install it after S-OFF & root?

If the ROM you flash doesn't already have the updates baked in, which they will, then yes.

Sincerest apologies if this has already been discussed, but does anyone have the Stock ROM for the RAZR on Verizon?
SBF hasn't been released yet, therefore I believe the only way to get to stock is restoring a Nan backup of a stock 'ROM'
It has now.

This simply adds the Talkback feature, correct? So if I don't need that I shouldn't bother until the Sense 5/4.2.2 update?
I need only the OTA package.

none that I can see other than it's updated, for all we know it could contain security updates, patched exploits, ect... I really don't know enough about bootloaders to really see what each different one has, unless you know how to read HTC's object code, im not sure anyone other than HTC knows what is contained in each release...

So no new radio, one feature? I am on engineering build (hboot) and want NO part of any hboot change. Was hoping for something significant.
Thanks
Wow Verizon really outdid themselves with this update haha

Question, with what is in the OTA, if someone who has S-OFF through Moonshine and root (but not a custom recovery) were to take it, would there be any issues?

I am on engineering hboot, rage Rom, and phone said I have an update and after deferring it made me choose a date. I froze "updater" but am not sure that will stop the update. How do I ensure no update occurs short of switching roms? Also, will it try to update from VZW side anyway now?
Ive been out of the loop for a while and was wondering if it is possible. If so how? Thanks for the help!

If you want a pre-rooted stock KK Surge has a method in place. This approach allows for SS Recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2726868
If all you are looking for is Stock VZW 4.2.2 perform via Odin wipe or no wipe methods. This approach will kill root and SS Recovery.
