[Q] PSX4Droid broken after 2.3.3 GB Update? (Pre-rooted) - Motorola Droid X2

After updating phone 2.3.3 GB Pre-root and re-installing all my apps PSX4Droid no longer works. I have tried several different versions and it is no longer on the marketplace. I have tried 1.7, 1.0.1, V2 1.0.8 etc etc. Anyone have a working version of this?
It does not seem to crash, just does not work. I point it to the BIOS file and then when I select the ROM (Final Fantasy Tactics) it blacks out for a split second then comes back to the ROM selection screen. I have tinkered with all the settings/options to try to fix it with no avail.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks guys
Hoppy

[Q] StreakDroid GingerStreak 2.4 netflix issue

Im having a issue with netflix on dj_steve awesome rom streakdroid gingerstreak 2.4.. It tries to load but stays at te laoding screen... is anyone else having this issue and if so did anyone fine a fix for it.. i love using my netflix on my streak
This is a known issue...
First, make sure you are running the latest version of Gingerstreak. See:
http://android.modaco.com/topic/347329-rom-streakdroid-gingerstreak-24-beta/
Next, try installing a previous version of Netflix:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17300857/com.netflix.mediaclient.apk
You should then be able to use netflix and even update to the most recent version.
For more Gingerstreak solutions, see the Wikipage:

thank you it worked but when i updated it hang again but as long as i can use it its ok... once again thanks....

Extremely slow operation

Ive noticed this since I upgraded to gingerbread.. phone is now very slow..
when I play music, it plays as something is taking up all the processing power in the background and the music plays as it is buffering, loading and playing..
the games that I download run so slowly that it feels like playing modern games on Pentium 3.
when I press the home button, all programs minimize but the icons on home screen load up one by one.. they are empty boxes and appear one by one.
anyone else have any experience like this?
any help or advice would be appreciated.
I am on stock gingerbread, i do not have any mod roms installed.. My phone has been rooted.
android version - 2.3.3
baseband version 2.1.71
-old question was closed without giving any reason, maybe it was in the wrong section... so trying again
Have you tried restarting?
Perhaps you have too many applications installed on the phone's memory, you should try moving it to the SD card in Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
Hope this is of some help.
I'd suggest rooting and installing a custom rom, it'll fix all of your issues.
I'd suggest TEAM ROM because I'm using it, and it's awesome.
And yes, the last question was in the wrong section.
hi, thanks for the reply.
I am also thinking of reflashing and installing a custom rom, but what always prevented me from doing so were the limitations of it, as every rom had some problem, some did not have working wifi, some did not have working camera.. and so on..
but I was following teh MIUI Rom and that looks promising, I noticed that the xperia x10 is not yet supported: http://miuiandroid.com/roms/miui-development-roms/
but also found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307044
will this custom MIUI Rom work? should I go through with it? (it also mentioned as wifi not working and third party app must be installed to fix it)
Thanks

I'm very happy with Oodie's ROM (MIUI): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295089
Great battery life and very responsive. No lags, everything working. Don't be fooled if the thread seems unactive, it's because everything is working...
Unlocking BL is a one step process in FlashTool. Flashing is a "breeze"
PM me if you need assistance.
Bugsy
thanks for your offer.. i think ill send you a PM as im confused on the first step of unlocking my bootloader =/ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087

Miui and market not updating

My market is stuck on build 3.3.11 and it's slow so I would like it to update, I tried letting it run in the background many times to no avail.
I've downloaded a couple different 3.4 market apks and can't get them to install.........
Anyone have the same issue and got it to update, or a known working apk? I
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Modern Combat 3...

I have read tons of threads on this and tried everything and CANNOT get it to work. I can't download the app off the market! I get the "Device isn't compatible". I have changed my build.prop and tried 120,132,and 160 DPI and i've tried editing the device to DROIDX, SGH-T989, and I9100(or whatever that one is). It refuses to let me download it. I have the newest nightly build of CM9. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Weird. I'm using the lastest CM9 build as of a week or so ago and it works fine. I didn't have to mess with any dpi settings, just changed the build prop to the Samsung I9000. No other graphics drivers or mods installed
I just reverted to CM9 A2 w/ older gapps. Doesn't seem to have made a difference. I'm wondering if it could be something to do with Rohan's Supreme Mod...

[Q] Modern Combat 5 installation Problem

Hi All.
I have a GT-P7500 android 4.0.4 (rooted).
I wanted to download and install modern combat 5 on my tab. But it had the same problem as MC4, it was not compatible with my device. So I did what I did with MC4. I used Market helper to change my device ID and downgraded my google play by uninstalling the update ( cause last time when I tried market helper only, it gave me an error when starting the download). This method completely worked for MC4.
MC5 purchased, downloaded and installed perfectly but when I open it , on "Verifying Files.." screen after gameloft logo a bar fills up fully but then MC5 closes and I go to my home screen. It doesn't say forced closes. Just closes!
I would really appreciate it if anybody could help me with this.
Thank you
Try using an upgraded ROM. Hope this helps.
