Anyone tried this out? It looks awesome! Search "sixaxis" in the market to find it.

It works just fine on my Droid X and my Nook Color in Tiger Arcade. Playing Metal Slug with a Sixaxis is incredible. I get even better scores than with my Wiimote...

I have the same problem.
Amazon Appstore has it available for a couple of bucks...
I had to install the old market app in order to get it. The new market is way too buggy for me, especially when it comes to updating apps...
Worths a AAA. Working very well with FPSe, all ps3 controller bottons/sticks working at ~1 meter range. Thanks god I was lazy and didn't buy wiimote
Well I am glad that everybody likes it! This combination looks like it kills the wiimote and phonejoy!
it's dualshock.
uh yeah? What about it?

Duel means a fight, whereas dual means two or a pair, it's DualShock not DuelShock.

I wasnt able to see it in Google Market from the Nook, strangely, the incompatible Epic (Galaxy S) does let me download it. After wrestling with trying to get the Nook to be able to download directly, I purchased the app and downloaded on my Epic, then used Titanium Backup to backup the app, then downloaded the backup onto the Nook using DropBox, and finally, was able to "restore" the app to my Nook. Works GREAT! Just goes to show you...when there is a will, there is a way!
The Youtube video says it's private. What's that about? "I'm gonna put a video up on Youtube but I don't want anyone to see it." That makes sense.
Market doesn't give a download link. Purchased on my Droid X just fine. I don't like the new market at all. Anyone figure this out?
I got it working by buying it for my Droid X. Then I installed the old market on my Nook. Did a search for the app. It showed up as purchased. I then just clicked on it and it installed. The key here is to install the old market on your Nook. You can grab it from the latest GAPPS file...I hope that helps ya...
All I can say is "wow", thanks for the heads up on this. I was using the wiimote/classic controller combo, but picked up a white PS3 controller and I have to say it totally rocks, ie it is a huge improvement over my previous setup.
Getting connected is easy enough and the range is great. Less bulky + better controls = Awesomeness for all My Mario World patches
Two PS3 controllers for 2 player games?
Can I play vs Street Fighter on my Nook Color at good speeds? :O That would kick ass...
is there a way to get an xbox remote to connect to the nook instead of playstation?

I'm looking for a decent NES emulator for the NC. I tried NESoid lite and loved it. It scales well and just works. However, you can't load saved games and you have to pay $4 to do so. Tiger lets you load saved states in the free versions, but it doesn't scale on the NC at all. At the very least, I can't get it to. It leaves me an inch and a half or so of blank space on either side and cuts off the controls to boot. A and B are barely there. Left and down are cut off completely. I see a few other NES emulators, but you have to pay for them. I'm reluctant to pay for something that I don't know works and I want something that will let me load saved game states.

Based on these two parts of your post, I am unsure why you are unwilling to spend four bucks on NESoid when you know it scales well, works well, and allows you to load saved game states. Seriously, it's less than a meal at a fast food place and it does everything you want it to do. Support the developer, buy the app, be happy!
Theres no emulator close to nesoid. Buy the app. Its worth it. Ive bought them all (nesoid, snesoid, gba, Genesis etc). They are all fantastic.

Agreed! Nesoid works fantastic on NookColor CM7, hooked it up with the WiiMote + bluetooth, and a friendly tip of advice when using playing Nesoid and WiiMote, in order to save points in the game, click on the button behind the WiiMote and it will prompt with a menu to save the game. Since the NookColor has only one button as far as hardware goes.
- WiiMote is free on the Android Market.
****If this tip helped, please consider clicking "thanks" below.
Good luck!
Not interested in WIImote. I have no desire to hook a peripheral of any kind into my Nook. I did go ahead and buy NESoid. The price seems stiff for me, but it does just work. Already getting a kick out of saving games so easily.
The -oid emulators are definitely the best ones. Playing Pokemon FireRed on GBAoid and it's absolute bliss.
I like the NES.emu app purely because of how easy it is to sync the Wiimote. I realize you weren't looking for that ability, but I thought I would add my 2 cents. I do find that it doesn't do as good of a job as NESoid at keeping the game running at normal speed (I frequently have to adjst frame skip and down to speed/slow games), but the convenience of the Wiimote was why I chose it.

Had it at one point. It no longer works even sideloaded. You can click to download a rom, but the link goes no where.
For any people who miss the old pc point and click adventure games like maniac mansion, Monkey Island 1-3, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, King's Quest 1-6, Space Quest 1-5,Discworld 1 and 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, Broken Sword 1 and 2, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Gobliiins 1-3, The Legend of Kyrandia 1-3 etc.
There is an app that works on android that will let you play these right on your atrix get it here. http://www.scummvm.org/ then go grab the add ons found in the market.
This has been around for awhile but I wasn't sure how many people knew this actually worked on our phones. I've tested a good portion of these and most work. I even had 7th guest running on this at one point!! The only thing that was off slightly was the sound.
And don't forget Full Throttle

For those of you who have it working I have a question.. Is it REALLY worth the $4.99!? Ive been spoiled by .99c games. Honestly I doubt I purchase it just because of that. But if Im missing out and NEED to play this game could any body offer a brief explanation why? I have read about the game already but would like to hear from someone who is playing on an Atrix. Thanks ahead of time.

i bought it yesterday, but didn't play it for very long. it's a pretty fun game, and the controls were really intuitive. it's exactly how you would want to control a fps on a touch screen, left side of the screen for moving and right for camera.
the graphics were pretty amazing for a smartphone, i was impressed. and i didn't experience any sort of lag, which was even better (using the 1.0ghz enhanced kernel CM7)
i'd say it's worth the 5 dollars, i only got about half an hour into it so far and was already satisfied with my purchase. the animations are all voice acted so far, gameplay is fun, and controls are great for a touch screen.
I highly recommend this game. Well worth the $5. The controls are much better than the gameloft FPS's that I've played and the graphics are amazing. When you compare the price to a console game it's a no brainer purchase.
On the gameloft shooters they kinda auto aim for you (sorta like goldeneye on n64) but on this game once you press the fire button you can move your finger and move your aim, like having dual joysticks. Also the left joystick appears wherever you put your thumb (on the left half of the screen) eliminating the problem of your finger missing the joystick.
The cover system is easy to use and works well. It's nice to have that instead of just having to run around shooting. The enemy AI isn't as good as many console games but miles ahead of other mobile shooters. Enemies will move from cover to cover, one will stick back while the other tries to flank you, etc.
There are a few very minor glitches here and there, but it runs very well on the atrix.
Well worth it...just be ready to kiss your battery byebye

Definitely worth it,especially considering it'll get an update for multiplayer in the near future apparently (forgot where i read it but it was a legit source). And the game is great to play, it has great graphics and is very smooth and fast.

Hey all over in the photon forums I have figured out the mapping to be able to use a PS3 controller with the game. I would post a link but I am on mobile. Look in the photon themes and apps. The title is easy to see. Says Shadowgun available for tegra 2 devices. I have only tested the ps3 controller with the photon so hopefully it works for you guys too.

I'm using Aura 1.2.2.0 (just haven't made the upgrade to 1.2.2.2 yet) and had the "download is incompatible with your device" from the market, however, I was able to install via market.android.com
Also... Yesterday(?), there was an update available for the game. After installing it, the character was holding an invisible gun that shelled out little pink blocks. Apparently this was a pretty common problem. This was fixed by reinstalling the game after deleting /sdcard/Android/data/com.madfingergames.shadowgun

Sadly there is no way to make hdmi mirroring with the Atrix... Widescreen that is.
This game is great on both my Atrix and eee pad transformers. For anybody having glitches, just uninstall the game and reinstall. I had to do that on both devices afterthe update. Also for those who have an eee pad with dock, you can plug up an Xbox 360 controller and play the game like it is an Xbox 360 game, just loads faster.

Is the game worth it? It's a bit like asking if it's worth breathing. The graphics are amazing, the controls are very user-friendly and fun, the game runs without any sort of lag or problem and it's like Resident Evil 5 but for mobile phones.
This is the first game that i actually find worth buying for my Atrix.

I suck as FPS and I'm a sucker for eye candy, but I definitely think this is a 10/10. Very well polished game. Some FPS pros might get bored of it but I'm not good enough at the genre to make an informed decision lol

so they made a tegra 3 version or is it just a tablet version of the always sh** fifa games on mobile
I didn't see it on the Tegra Zone, so I'm guess it's just a general port.
yeah it looks like theres a version on the market with 1 review for 4.99 but no mention of tegra 3
oh and that review is 5 stars but no info
I guess this is the game you are talking about Fifa 12 by EA Sports
Indeed, it has no indication of Tegra 3 or tablet support at all, but one of the comments talks about the game running on a Galaxy Tab 10.1, and according to the play store it's compatible with our Primes.
If someone gets a chance to test it, please let us know how is it
For most part, If the game shows in market and you can buy it it will work with your device. The dev, company can select system, device that the game, app works with when uploading it to market.
Bought the game. Is 1257mb to be downloaded. I'll be back later how it works.
But am pretty sure that it will work just fine.
Edit: when making posts to tips, suggestion a games or apps the least you can do is to post links
Edit #2 :Made a little video to show that it works
I've played a couple matches, and I'm really happy with the purchase. Game runs very smoothly, and it actually controls pretty well with the on screen buttons. I have not checked for gamepad / keyboard support yet.

I had problems after installing it but a reboot of the prime fixed my problems. Give that a shot.
Because of the reviews on the market I tried to install via wares to see if it works. People reporting black screen and throwing out on startup, this and the fact it download the 1gb + of data at less than 100kbps means your stuck getting an auto refund.
I unfortunately had these problems so going to hold off on purchasing untilled more stable. After a restart I did get a message about my device not able to use it or something but just backs out again thereafter.
It plays fine here, never had to reboot. Works great with Sixaxis / Dualshock 3.

Is that with native support? Or did you create a touch profile?
I am curious if this would work...
With the htc media link hd found here, would it be possible to open a NES, SNES, or other emulator or game/app and use the three fingers up gesture to display the game/app on the tv.
I am not really sure if the app itself has to have the capabilities to do this, or if HTC thought out of the box and made it so that the phone mirrors what is on the screen at any given time.
Ideas?
If I am able to do this, then I just fell that much more in love with my phone again.
Re: HTC Media Link HD ---> TV gaming
Try?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
i have the medialink, and it completely mirrors the screen so anything thats on the phone will display. The problem is that there is enough lag that if you tried to play something simple like mario you would almost always miss your jumps. RPG should be ok, but action games would be frustrating. The best option is still to wire it up via MHL and then use a bluetooth controller.
The three fingers gesture isn't the only way to get it to link, when it detects a medialink on the network or in the area when you're not connected to wifi there will be a notification that you can use to get them to talk.
Lastly, if you're gonna drop the $75+ to get a medialink, you might as well get an ouya when it comes out and just run emulators off that.
Re: HTC Media Link HD ---> TV gaming
Yea I thought about the ouya today. From what I read though, the lag disappears after a moment and the connectivity stabilizers. Is that right? I haven't looking into the mhl or whatever yet. I will look into it too. Thanks for all your info !

If you have the Media Link HD then it should be pretty self explanatory to you. Everything on your phone's display gets mirrored to your TV, it's pretty simple... Once you're connected, just launch the game, and see if it's playable with the lag or not. I use mine for watching Droid TV PrimeTime a LOT, but I've never tried a game before. For Android gaming I just hook up my Asus Infinity using the mini-HDMI port built in to the side of the tablet, and play using the Sixaxis app and one of my PS3 controllers. Love it!!!
