[Q]what is your transfer rate/speed on bluetooth3 - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

few days ago I got my tablet and I use bluetooth to transfer files between my galaxy s phone and galaxy tablet but the max speed I got was 1megabyte per 12 seconds the application which I used is bluetooth file transfer
my question : is this what we expect from bluetooth 3?
as far as I know BT3 is capable of 24Mbps (theory), but what I got on my tablet is quiet less

MSI Primo 73 Allwinner A20 firmware issue

Hi Guys,
can somebody pls help me with the below issue:
I bought MSI Primo 73 for christmas for my girlfriend and it has already been twice at repair service and now it isn't still working very well. Let me tell you the whole story. I bought Primo 73 for my girlfriend as christmas present 4 months ago. After some days of usage we faced several issues: only 12 Gb of internal memory (ok, not annoying but MSI says 16 Gb), very weak wifi, system applications constantly freezing, it was completely unusable. I took it back for repair service, after 1 month we got the tablet back, however still not perfect. We couldn't charge it, back to repair service for 1 month again. We have it back almost since 30 days and face issues again. (However according to the service, motherboard has been replaced, so no HW issue). Weak wifi, after coming back from sleep state wifi launches very slowly, freezing and hanging system and other applications. We couldn't use it again. So I refreshed the newest firmware available from the site (only Beta). Now everything is working fine, fast wifi, very rare freezes, but now issue is tablet switches off and reboots after switching on the screensaver or going to stand by status in every 10minutes. We cannot use it again. I could take it back to repair service again, 3. time, as we have 2 years of warranty, however I don't see advantage as may fear is they would copy the original firmware back, tablet would work well for 2-3 days, and after several days of usage everything would go crap with same errors and same issues.I installed only basic applications from android market place ie: opera, facebook, cleaner master. I'm completely sure it is not a HW but a SW issue, a new firmware should help, however MSI haven't responded to my complain so far since last December and no new firmware (only the Beta one) available on the MSI site.
I googled on the net and decided to find suitable custom ROMs for the tablet, which is a simple Alwinner A20 one, a new firmware could make it work again.
Specs are:
CPU Allwinner A20 Dual Core 1.0 GHz
OS Android 4.2
Memory DDR 1GB
LCD Size 7'' 1024x600
Graphics Mali400MP2 GPU
Touch Panel High Quality Capacitive Display Multi-Touch
Storage 16GB
Audio 0.5w Speaker
Webcam Front 0.3M FF, Back 2.0M FF
Card Reader micro SD
Wireless LAN Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n)
HDMI Mini HDMI
USB 2.0 port Micro-USB , support OTG
Headphone-out 3.5mm headphone Jack (OMTP Standard)
Sensor G-Sensor
AC Adapter AC100~240V/DC 5V/2A
Battery 3000 mAh
If somebody has a similare device with A20 core pls share the ROM so I can flash it to the MSI one.
It was too expensive (110EUR) to drop it into trash and I don't rely on MSI and repair service anymore, would like to fix it myself.
Thanks guys the feedbacks in advance,
Pete

Bluetooth stability, range, and performance needed!

Our application is mission critical when it comes to Bluetooth SPP performance.
I was quite happy with the Tab 4 7.0 It worked awesome. Tab 3 Lite failed miserably at least the second version did. Early Lite versions were ok.
So since the Tab 4 is now Discontinued, I tried the new Tab A 7.0 and was quite disappointed. the Bluetooth connectivity is unstable and tends to crash so I have to turn bluetooth off/on, and the range is about HALF that of a Tab 4. Heck I can lay the Tab A flat on the table and it wont see anything!
So unfortunately it seems that Samsung isnt going to be a viable option anymore for us.
I need to know what is the best tablet for the money when it comes to maximum bluetooth range and performance? Thanks.

Hard drive

God morning from the Philippines! This is about file transferring. when it comes to transferring files on and to a hard drive and otg usb it takes too long than normal or than my other devices (samsung c9 pro an old model and huawei nova 3i). I needed to know or wanted to know if those who have updated their poco has resolved this issue and if not. If there will be an update to upgrade the transfer speed. Mine is not rooted. Not updated. All stocks from the box. Thank you!

I am on 9.3.7 and the file transfer speed to/from pc,otg is still slow

I noticed it too. While using a portable HDD(2 TB) for transferring files, transfer speeds were very low 200-500 kBps but when I used a simple pen drive (32 GB) I was getting standard USB 2.0 speeds around 5 to 9 mBps. A point to know that the HDD I used DIDN'T have any external power and used the power from the usb port for driving itself. Maybe our phone isn't sending enough power through the USB port that's necessary for driving a portable HDD. I don't have any HDD that needs external power to work, so I can't test it. If I can get my hands on one, I'll post the results here.

Question file transfer speeds, usb2.0 vs wifi 6

The 90s called Asus about them returning the usb2.0 speeds, but I guess no one at the company picked the phone, and now the zenfone 9 is stuck with that.
Or maybe Asus systems designers thought, "let's keep it smaller by saving usb 3.0 or 3.1 speeds because via wifi 6e the phone is already able of doing up to 9.6gbps speeds and wifi is the future."
Can someone do some benchmarks on wifi 6, by locally transferring some big files, and post their results? This is kind of an important factor to know for people who are thinking of shooting many 8k videos, or (what I am thinking of) edit 360 videos via insta360 app, and then being able to transfer large files to the pc.
usb2.0 to transfer those large files is a deal breaker, absence of sd card slot with good speeds could be an alternative, but no: We are left with the wireless options that, theoretically, are the answer but in practice I'd like to see some tests.
Thanks!

All Xiaomi devices even with 12S Ultra also only USB 2.0, OnePlus 10T and even iPhone 14 for example. There are more devices with old spec USB than you might think.
Back to the wifi transfer. I only have wifi 6. Using Asus file transfer and I got about 20 MB/s.
Maybe there is a better way but for now that's what I got
be sure to turn on dual band wifi to maybe get your wifi to hit a gigabit.
