Cam someone point me in the direction of the aosp clock so I can get the aosp lockscreen up and running. How would I set it all up also, its been a while.

Don't know about the clock part. But if you want the lock screen. You can just use root.explorer to go to the directory system/app were the lock screen is the rename the htclockscreen.apk to htc.lockscreen.bak then reboot and that should make the native aosp lock screen appear. If I'm not mistaken.

You can double check, but I've been using the aosp lockscreen for a while now, and haven't had any alarm issues. If you don't have a pattern unlock set up, as soon as you unlock the phone you are prompted by the alarm to dismiss or snooze. If you do have a pattern unlock set up, you won't be able to unlock until after you enter the pattern to fully unlock the phone. I haven't gotten the issue that I had with the Evo 4G where you wouldn't be able to silence the alarm without a battery pull unless you were using the AOSP lockscreen. Try it out and see if you have the same results. I actually made a thread on how to do this a little while ago, but it got buried. I guess most people prefer the sense 3.0 lockscreen.

Well, with the Evo 4G, the only reason I needed the AOSP clock was because the alarm wasn't able to be dismissed without it. You'd have to pull the battery in order to get the alarm to shut off. I have not encountered that problem with this phone. I've been using the AOSP lockscreen, and have been able to disable the alarm every time (htc alarm) without issues. As I said, if you use a pattern lock or whatever, you do need to unlock the pattern before being given the chance to dismiss or snooze the alarm, but you do not need pull the battery.

I am not code savvy enough to say its possible or not, but can we have a mod to display the charging status and alarm info in the PIN lock screen, like how it displays in the pattern lock screen. Dont know if there are many like me who dont use PIN to lock the phone because we cannot see time, battery & signal status, alarm etc without unlocking the phone.

You can see the time on status bar.
You can see signal status on your status bar.
You can see the battery status if you change the charging animation In framework res.apk
You need to get the accurate battery though.
The alarm..im not sure

Alarm Klock in the market allows you to put alarm info in the lockscreen. It can either be the time of, or a countdown to, the next alarm. You can also customize it.
on the original android lockscreen (i.e. nexus one), it used to show if there is an alarm or not, and if there is, it used to say when, day and time.
is there any way i can have it also say that on the samsung lockscreen somewhere next to where it displays the time?
i like this feature because sometimes i get paranoid about what time i have set my alarm for the next day

Standard lockscreen won't do this but you can buy widget locker from the market and that'll replicate the stock android lockscreen with alarm info
i checked out the app, thanks
i hope someone will be able to mod this lockscreen though
I only get the ICS lockscreen which is locked with a pattern so I have the risk of missing a call.
If I understand your question correctly, your lockscreen only works if you set a pattern? Depending on your ROM you can adjust the timeout for the lockscreen so that it locks right away vs. waiting a few minutes.
As far as getting to the dialer screen, you have to unlock it and open the phone app. More details will help though:
What ROM are you on?
Does the lockscreen work without a pattern/pin?
When someone calls you and your device is locked, what happens? Does it go to voicemail right away or does it show that someone is calling?
No.. I just get the ICS lockscreen when I receive a call, no answer-decline buttons. So I have to unlock the phone first before I can accept the call. This is because I have the sense dialler with the ICS lockscreen.
Is there an ICS dialler I can install to make the incoming callscreen showup in the ICS lockscreen?
I know what you mean, I installed the stock ics contacts and dialer app from the themes section and tried freezing the HTC dialer, didn't work and calls still come in on the HTC dialer. It may be part of sense?

Oh OK I understand you know. Sorry. You can try an app like widget locker which provides different style lock screens. That shouldn't interrupt your calls. It worked well for me.

If you're using something like leedroid tweaks to switch the lockscreen (at least over sense 3.6, that's all I've tried it on), there's no way to make calls show up on the lock screen. For now, at least, you have to unlock and open the app if you want to use AOSP lock screen on Sense (3.6 only? Haven't tried any other version.)
I want to use face unlock, but it sort of defeats the convenience if I have to pull the ring on the Sense lockscreen first. Is there any way to disable/delete the sense lockscreen so it does not open before the face unlock?
You can with leedroid tweaks but make sure you use the right one for the right version of android. It's an awesome mod, but I don't recommend removing the sense lock screen because it does make other things inconvenient. I tried its for a while.
If you receive a call, you have to unlock the phone before you can answer. Usually I'd miss the call before I was able to answer. Same goes for turning off alarms.

Rooted running various ROMs and this keeps popping up. I have my "home" lockscreen set to cLock. As soon as I get any type of notification, lock the phone then go to unlock it this one appears to the right of the home lockscreen. Wouldn't be so annoying, except for the fact that it shows up as if it were the home lockscreen and I have to swipe to the left to get to the real home lockscreen.
I've noticed this on Hyperdrive and BoneStock, so I know it's not a ROM issue. If I restart, it goes back to normal up until I get another notification. I can't edit or remove it. Driving me nuts...

If you expand the widget screen by swiping down on your widget, that's the "minimized" unlock challenge. With your cLock widget on screen, try swiping down on it, and you'll see the same thing at the bottom. If you swipe back up from it, the widget is back to normal, non-expanded size, and the challenge ring will come back to normal.
...at least that's what I'm seeing.

That doesn't look like cLock.

I should have clarified. That widget looks the same wether minimized or expanded. I know what you're saying though, the cLock widget just shows me time and weather and when I expand it I get my calendar. Whatever this widget is it shows nothing but the time and date regardless of expanded or minimized. It shouldn't bug me this badly, but it's seriously driving me crazy. I get my lockscreen setup with a cool widget and as soon as I get a text or email I get this tiny little thing that doesn't show anything useful.

Pretty sure that is the KeyguardWidget that would normally show if you had a new message or missed call or something. I would delete it and it will default to the default clock widget.

I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

This can be achieved on a TW ROM by going to settings, lockscreen, widgets, clock size and choose small.

Nice, thanks
Just a quick update in case someone else is searching for a fix. Adjusting the lock screen widgets from settings did not work for me (on JellyBeans B6). Renaming KeyguardWidget.apk to KeyguardWidget.apk.old in /system/apps did work though. Thanks again for everyone's help!
