Could someone port the matted blues theme please. I freakin love that theme. I don't have a link for it cuz I'm at work, but i'll post one when i get home. I'm willing to donate to whomever ports it first. TIA.

Prolly not gonna happen, Jabba is kind of nazi pain when it comes to porting his theme.

Quite a good looking theme, it is just a little too "blue" for me tho. Please keep making themes, the 3d seriously lacks them right now!

That's a nice theme, and you did a good job, but there's too much blue in that for me. Matted Blues is the theme I love.

GUYS: My work with MattedBlues is NOT at all done. We only received full root last week, and I'vee been on vacation. However, this project is in FULL EFFECT and probably could he released as a beta in the next few days. I'm going to get cracking when I return home tomorrow at midnight.

I've been running Warm 2.2 for AOSP on my Hero. I would rather see the ROM, but if worse comes to worst I wouldn't mind seeing the theme ported.
I also like the look of the Tangerine theme for CM6. I believe I saw that on the G2 forum.

I am going to try and get my feet wet with development. I agree Warm. 2.2 is great I've run it a few times on the EVO. I'll see what I can see.
the only problem i think is that warm 2.2 is so heavily themed that it slows down the device. i tried it out on my evo and it definitely felt slower
i've had some experience themeing, ill help with a port or if there is an abundance of requests ill pick one up from here.... but i too wanna get into development.
I don't know if this would be a theme or not. How about something (I prefer) completely stock except for one thing; increase the font size by maybe two points from what it is now. I'm a blind old fart that needs to get examined for a new prescription for contacts and glasses. Hee hee

Again, I don't know if this is a theme either. How about all the main stock apps and related that are black on white to inverted white on black. A dark theme. Hell, I'd even like a black and white dark theme with no colors. Some might think that to be dumb or boring but I would like it at least. It doesn't need eye candy either. Conservative black and white on the stock theme.
I may be wrong but I think the less eye candy and animations, the snappier the os/gui might be. Give them cpu cycles to a program that needs it.

It might slow it down a bit but not enough to matter in my opinion, I lovvvved the theme, really appealing compared to all others I came by....Myns is definitely one I would love to see if not the whole Rom ported.
Oh and you could always turn the animations off, I always did...I liked the look, so not having animations on transitions didn't really bother me.

I've had the idea of a rasta colored theme for Loki the whole time I've been putting the rom out, just haven't had the time to play with it yet. I would welcome anyone who has the time and desire to port this to Loki. 2.2.1 version dropping soon, but for someone who wants to theme it I'd send ya copies of my framework for 2.2.1 for the theme. PM me.

be advised, i will only be doing framework and twframework at first. I have an interview tomorrow morning and possibly an ass-ton of training to do for a security job that will last 2 weeks. I am going to see what I can get done in my free time, as I'm also juggling a new girlfriend (and dealing with a desperate ex-boyfriend proposing to her everyday), a truck payment I don't have $ for at the moment, and I'm trying to organize to move by the end of the month.
So, as you can see, I dig the Rasta theme idea for a simple reason. Those are the colors I see when I wind down anyways.

Were you able to theme the incoming call (while unlocked) and the slide-to-answer screen?
I'm just waiting for that to be themed over and I think I could live with not having a completely custom ROM for the Atrix.

Thanks for all the hard work. Definitely do not blame you for getting a little irked about the situation. It's one thing to port a theme, it's another to not ask permission to do it. I'm eagerly waiting for this theme to be ported to the Atrix, it's one I've had my eye on for a while now.

This will take me some time as I am just learning, am working 1 full time job and 2 part time jobs and I also have a 2 year old at home. So please do not ask for ETA's. I will try to release themes in stages. Please look at the poll attached to this thread as it will help me decide what colors to start with. Also iff you have any apps you would like to see themed please leave a comment in this thread of that app you would like to see themed. FYI first theme I will come up with will be bluish in color as blue is my favorite color After that I will start with the #1 color in the post poll and work my way down the list.
I am currently running alien ROM on my phone so I will be using that ROM as a base. If anyone would like to help please let me know. REally need someone who is great at photoshop or GIMP. Also will need tester's also.

Even though Alien is nice, it's a few updates behind and dead (most likely forever). Might I suggest Yay's 2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_7-CM Deodex. Either way I'll be happy to test.

I'm in no way a PS/Illustrator expert...I can do a couple things here and there, and get by, but I also have access to a creative team at my work and maybe we can work together on some stuff!

Finally had sometime to sit down and study. This seems easier them I originally thought it would be. I am going to start writing up a plan of attack for this project.
Also if people could start replying with what they look for in a theme (i.e. battery meter, transparent notification bar, themed apps, etc). If you want themed apps please list what apps.

With the help of many from this thread and some people that i sent pm's to that took the time to help me out (waaaayyy to many to list)and some people that i kanged a few things from(mayfield's weather icons,eg&jeffs dialer, and a few icons here and there(cant remember where their all from, so if you see something that i "borrowed from you please tell me and i'll give proper credit).
I decided to release my first theme(so NO it's not prefect, yet), and there may be a few green items i missed, but here she is let me know what you think. Its based on warm 2.3 but should work on cleanrom 2.9 and up. screen shots below. As i learn more i'll update more and add more colors and icons.

(Please be kind first theme and no i dont know everything or anywhere close to it)
So here is my theme PurpleDase
if your using TRWP 2.0 i have a Purple theme for it that matches my theme(thanks teamwin, and li duce)just remove (xxxx)leaving ui. using root explorer go to sdcard\TWRP\theme* place it there and when you reboot in to your recovery its there
*(you must make a theme(lower case) folder inside TRWP folder)

I see someone said 'Het' instead of 'hey' on accident so much that they accidentally added it to the dictionary!
Or you could have been using that word on purpose to refer to a heterosexual...
try to text to fast and you get all kinds of new words never thought of the last part. i have to go through the dictionary every now again to clean out the non words

I did a purple one for the OG evo, and I remember using a wallpaper fom HTC hub that kicked ass, it should be under colors in HTC hub(just hit wallpapers, Get more)
i'll look it up and no she hates when i start playing around with and i quote stupid phone sh**.she always ask why do you want to do that,whats if good for,she doesn't get that i find it a fun hobby(even though sometimes i want to bash my head on the desk repeatedly) and even if nothing i did works,that someone else may like what i've done. and thank you, your to kind
