Hello everyone Noobie here. First off, both phone and tab are rooted. I have been using the tether wifi 3.1 beta 2 for tethering and everything worked great. I recently updated the the tablet using the update on the tablet and I am still able to connect to the phone via wifi, but no 3G data as of now. Anyone??
FYI
I use Barnacle to wifi and tether to the lap top which is ad-hoc with no problem. Bueller??

i seem to have a strange problem with Barnacle Wifi Tether,
when i use Barnacle Wifi Tether my SSID Name is 'kashnet'
but sometimes when am on my laptop and search for my wireless network (looking for my router) i find my Barnacle Wifi on it with strong signal but the problem is that my Barnacle WIFI app isnt even running on my phone!
how could this happen? is this a bug?
am using x10 mini pro running Mini CM7 Pro V21

My problem is tethering, obviously!
I usually tether via wi-fi hotspot in my device and it works perfectly. These days, whenever I tether and open the BitTorrent, the net connection stops I don't know why ..?! I tether in order to use the bittorent. Is there any sort of explanation for this? Or a solution?

What's the best app for wifi tethering the laptop to the phone (I want the laptop to use the internet connection of the phone).
The market shows apps such as:
Barnacle
wifitethering (by opengarden)
wireless tether for root
but I have no experience with any of these.
Would appreciate recommendations.

Hi I want to tether the 3g connection of my rooted Tablet s. I know that we can' t for wpa_supplicant, but there is an alternative method? If no, when we can?
