Does anyone else's HDMI out lags? Is there a possible fix?

Ok I have searched high and low. I know the sii has Hdmi out but I wanna hook it up to my screens in my Hummer. I can do that with the old headphone video jack that works on the old epic. Has anyone tried the sii to see if it works? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi all,
I was just wondering if anybody notice that there is no settings to set the transformer to either use the HDMI audio out or internal speakers when the HDMI port is plugged in
so the problem is if i want to use the hdmi to vga converter, i still want sounds coming out of the internal speakers... anyway of getting around that?
thanks~

are you speculating or have you confirmed this is an issue? Since vga does not carry sound i would imagine they did not map the sound pins for that dongle.
Just got my MHL adapter.
I noticed that while videos run perfect, the screen is laggy, and emulators run like crap.
Is this due to the hardware or Sense?
Also, when the MHL is connected, it automatically goes to landscape, and the kickstand is unusable because the display doesn't auto-rotate.
Is there a way to modify that?
I find emulators impossible to use. Input lag is ridiculousness
Yea I noticed that too haha.
I hope this is just because of Sense because I mainly got the adapter so I can play using the TV and a couple of controllers. D:
i used my GS2 (epic touch) with an MHL combo with n64oid and the performance was practically flawless. It might have been the smoothness of an exynos cpu but still it sucks to hear its not so on our next gen chipset
Got a PNY MHL adapter for $10 shipped no issues what so ever. I was really worried after all the feedback but like Mc Donalds says I'm lovin it!
Maybe it's the 720p phone display that's causing the slowdown
Can anybody with a GNex comment?
Let me clarify, it's not slow fps. It's input lag. I can't play games like metroid fusion because it's too slow to pick up when I am trying to input through the PS3 controller. The phone's screen is PERFECTLY playable. It's the HDTV mirror that isn't. So, input lag. Only on through HDMI

yea that's what was happening to me. agh it's frustrating.
Hello all,
I have the international Galaxy S3 and I bought a 3rd party MHL-HDMI adapter.
The adapter works great. However the issue that I have (And lots of others) is that when it outputs at 1080p it only does so at 24-30Hz or so.
I haven't heard of anyone getting 1080P at 60hz.
People who output 1080i and 720p get 60Hz which is excellent.
I would love to know if there is a hack/mod/setting that would enable outputting at 720p or 1080i instead of 1080P etc to enable 60hz on the TV
Is there any solution at all?
Videos aren't as smooth as they should be , and while gaming works it is not optimal, clearly a framerate/refresh issue, not performance as the phone doesn't lag or anything.(And it happens with everything)
I'm on stock Jellybean 4.1 ...
Thank you, I am sure many many people would be interested!
Anybody? Issue still exists.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if somebody with the MHL HDMI adapter and a Galaxy S3 knows whether it can output the camera view onto a connected TV/Screen. It doesn't matter whether the camera is recording or not, I just wanted to see the camera on a large screen!
I could not find an answer anywhere, and I know for a fact my old Galaxy S does not output video from the camera via its TV Out.
If anyone could answer this I would be delighted!!

Yes it will show you the camera on your bigscreen monitor!
does the MHL HDMI adapter require external power (like the S2)?
Yes it does
