Has anybody noticed a clicking noise...maybe like the screen adhesive or whatnot coming off of the case? The location for me is top right corner right above the right speaker. I don't know if it is the case or the screen but I definitely feel some movement....This along with my previous question of not being able to click on certain pop ups...maybe I have a defective unit?
I have a similar issue near my left speaker. However, it is only an issue if I press too hard. My guess is that its difficult to get a perfect glue job on a unit this thin.

I've noticed that on my phone the distance between the screen and the bezel is not even all the way around the phone. It looks like in the top right and top left the screen is deeper than the bottom. At the same time the screen in the bottom left is higher than the rest of the phone. The screen doesn't appear to be loose, so I doubt this will ever be an issue, but I was wondering what exactly causes this. I've checked out a few phones from different stores this seems to vary between phone to phone. I have seen a few that are more or less even all the way around while I have seen others like mine. Between the ones I have seen with the varying distance, the bottom left corner seems to always be higher than the rest.
That's been reported on. Seems quality checks vary a bit. No one has posted any problems resulting from it. Most phone cases cover the difference.

I am not talking about the space between the bezel and the screen horizontally, I am talking vertically. The bottom left corner looks like the glue didn't stick properly causing it to become unstuck. If I press on the screen in that area there is a noticeable sound like when your fingers have something sticky on them and you put them together and take them apart. However, this sound might be created due to the fact that that corner is where the speaker is and the plastic is weaker because of the holes.

Mine makes the same noise and I don't have a raised area of the screen in the bottom left corner...

Haven't heard much about it making a noise when you press on it, but a number have posted about your issue. Seems it's always the bottom and either the right or left side being higher. No one has yet posted about both being higher, at least not yet.
Samsung screens are attached to the phone by an adhesive tape/pad. So it would be possible that some bad batches went out allowing the screen to lift. All Samsung phones come with a one year warranty. You'll be without a phone but you can send it in to get fixed if it bothers you enough or gets worse.
If you go to their website you can register your phone and they will extend the warranty a little bit. I think at least a month longer.

Hey guys,
I noticed if I put pressure on the left side of the tablets edges, the screen pushes in slightly. It very very slight
Is that something to worry about
Mine does the same thing.. Not too worried about it....yet.

I have the same with original Transformer. I noticed it while trying to check if it creaks (after half a year of having the device). I think it's nothing to worry about.
thanks guys!
Mine does the same thing. The trouble is that when it deflects, it makes a slight 'click' noise that is very annoying.
This is on the left side (i.e. volume rocker side), right?
Mine has it on both the left and the right side. Very slight though. No noise but a little concerning but good to hear that others have the same problem.
mine 2
add it to the list lol
Oh my God, return it now

And I thought I was high... lol. Got that on the lower right side. I hold my tablet with my left hand

I feel like I might return mine if it creaked or the screen had movement. One of the things I love about this tablet and now the dock is how solidly it is built. I have to wonder if all of these creaks and loose screens are a result of careless techs during the wifi correction.

I hate you for mentioning this.
I noticed it the other day, but I wanted to ignore it.
watch for dust getting under the glass tho.. I have a few pieces stuck under it already.
I have the same issue. If you hold the prime in landscape (as it is supposed to be), I can feel the screen push in on the top right and also the bottom right of center (from where you would dock it). Not to concerned right not, but as another poster said, would be worried about it if dust and stuff got in under the screen.
My bevel seems loose around the front facing camera, as if they've not stuck it down properly. Seems ok elsewhere though.
Like the title says... Is this a defect or a galaxy note feature?
Sometimes when I'm using the s pen, it seems like it taps the screen even though the pen does not even touch the screen yet. I can recreate the problem especially on the bottom right areas.
What I want to know if this actually a note feature.
It's weird because in those areas I only need to hover the pen and it will click/tap the icons there.
Same issue here with Dot button in Memo thou.

Same here... Bottom right just over the back button ... Driving me nuts
Happens to me too....
It is a feauture if you feel comfy with it. It is a defect if you do not feel comfy with it. I dnt find it to be a defect

There's been several mentions of this defect here on the forums already.
Here's the short explanation: the magnet from the speaker on the back of the phone is screwing with the s-pen signal a little bit in the lower right area of the screen.
Here's the short fix: wrap a tiny piece of aluminum tape around the s-pen, right at the bottom of the button, as seen in this video.
Or you can wait and see if Samsung makes an updated version of the s-pen that doesn't get the interference.
I noticed that my phone was "soft" to the center left.. The right is firm and will not move at all wh n. Pressed with my finger... But the left side moves a little... It's soft if you will. Now it moves only a little but it does move... Also the top left corner is slightly higher then the right upper corner. Again it barely noticeable but it's there... Is anyone else having this issue???? There is nothing wrong with the screen as far as functionality...

No, I don't seem to have e thus issue. Things seem uniform throughout. I'd probably take it back, but I'm picky like that.

Mine does that too but its the right instead of the left. I don't want to take it back though...

Judging by the teardown videos.. You should be able to just pop the top cover off, and the bottom cover on the back of the phone. And see if any of those screws just need to be tightened?
Because once you undo those the whole thing pops out as one piece from the aluminum body. If that doesnt work, then I'd say it's the screen itself and I'd swap it.
When I push (lightly) on the bottom area of the display - the capacitive button area - there is a pretty loud creak every time, as if the display pops out of the case and pushing it snaps it back in. All I have to do is touch either corner of the bottom of the display and I get this creaking. At that point, it stops, but if I try it again five minutes later it creaks again. Does this happen to anyone else, and is it a big enough deal to consider an exchange?

I don't have that problem. In my opinion, that is something pretty annoying and I would look to get a replacement, if possible

I experienced a similar issue on the TOP of the screen, where it the screen is flush with the body on the left side of the earpiece, but NOT completely flush on the right side of the screen (just under the front facing camera). The right side of the screen pops out a little bit. Anyone experience this? I am going to bring this to AT&T to see if I can get a replacement.

i had the exact same problem with the onex, what ever you do, dont squeeze it back in, you will end up with a yellow spot from what ever is underneath it, i went round the whole xcreen pushing and sticking it back in,it was all flush, no popping out on the corners or creeking, after about an hour i started getting yellow spots and lines at ther top under the speaker ans in the corner where it was popping out before, i actually got angry in the end and smashed the screen lol, cost me £170 from htc repair centre, phone is now better than when i purchased and a i regret to say its better than the onex+ i purchased while phopne was in repair, the scrolling on the onex+ is reall peaing me off now, its double clicking things, when i scroll it rubberbands and goes the other way lol, also it clicks on stuff in a different area to where my finger is sometimes when i scroll,i have a thread and im reporting it to htc after christmas, and i hope everyone else is, i want as many people as possible to get in touch with them so they no its serious, with a bit of luck we might get 4.2.1 earlier or at least a hotfix ota.Improved scrolling my ass.
