Timescape EDK (with Sample RSS plugin/ XDA) - Xperia Play Android Development

Sony Ericsson has released the EDK for extending the default timescape and music app.
But i could not find any developers working on it.So i thought to post a thread here to bring to the notice of developers who are ready help in bringing more plugins for us.

With the sample code i was able to build an apk for RSS plugin which is working for me.It would be great if any one with rooted device upload screens for the plugin
Update1:The RSSPlugin_1.apk now loads and show images on the Timescape tiles for RSS feeds
Update2:I have added option to add XDA forum in the options of RSS plugin.
All you need to inout is the forum ID in text box.
Ex:For Xperia Play android development would be 1093 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1093
This is the only way i could think to get XDA..dont blame me if it doesn't work.The forum URL you are trying to add should end with f=XXXX
Update3:Changed XDA url to show Last changed threads instead of Last created Threads
PSlease remove previous version and reinstall.

The problem with these TimeScape plugins is that the way they format the information, only relatively small updates make sense. Tweets, Facebook statuses, and that kind of thing. Richer content is off limits.

I agree with you but plugins "GMail subject","Read Event from calender","Weather Plugin" etc would be useful.It's just my idea...

Of course, those are great ideas. But I think it's good to frame for what can be done and what can not.

You should be seeing rss multi source under services tab in timescape....just add the feed then you are good to go

An XDA pluging would be awesome, one that showed each thread in a diffrent tile is that even possible?
