Hi Guys,
We are planning to use the GT 10.1 for an embedded project, but I need to know what type of wifi chipset that is included with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Does anyone know?
Does anyone know of a webpage or wiki where the chipsets of the various available android devices are listed?

Thanks for your support

That's correct.
7500 is 3G capable but can be used with wifi as well
7510 is Wifi ONLY (But has better development in my opinion)
what's difference
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure 10.1 is 7510 and 10.1v is 7500.
Its just a way to separate the forum sections for them.

galaxy tab 10.1v is only avaliable for vodafone and here is the full comparison http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3831&idPhone2=3892
and i think the main difference is that the 10.1 has pls screen (much more better) both have same internals but 10.1v has 4 speakers alllot thickness and bad development here on xda
Tomorrow my Galaxy Tab 10.1n will arrive.
It has been out since the end of December.
Now I am quite interested if there are already ways to obtain root etc.
From what I understand it's a redesign of the 10.1v version wich mustn't be sold here in germany due patent infringement. (thank you, apple!)
It has the same specs as the v version however it sports different software (Honeycomb 3.2)
Does anyone allready have experiences with it?
The 10.1N is a 10.1 (without "V") with a slightly different frame to address the "community design" infringement. The hardware inside is the same.
3G: GT-P7500 = GT-P7501
WiFi: GT-P7510 = GT-P7511
As far as I know you can use root instructions, all the ROMs and mods for the 10.1 on the 10.1N.
Hi all,
did anyone root his/her Samsung Galaxy 10.1N WiFi (P7511) [no 3G]? I read some posts that the Galaxy 10.1 (GT-P7510) and Galaxy 10.1N (GT-P7511) are nearly the same but haven't found a posting where someone actually did it successfully.
Cheers & thanks,
Mischa
Hi,
I have rooted my Galaxy Tab 10.1N 3G (P7501) without any problems. I used the instructions for the P7500/P7510 over here:
http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=5
It should be the same procedure for the 10.1N WiFi (P7511).
Hi Guys,
Looking for a good android based Projector Phone?
Anybody know what are the options? Just know about Samsung Beam (projector of Samsung is not good)
Really appreciate some suggestions..
Hi guys,
Is it possible to port Grand Prime's rom (lollipop, not kitkat) to ours galaxy s3 (i9300)?
Sry for weak English
There are a few ROMs that are lollipop based. Try temasek or JustArchi's one on the ROM section. They work great.

No and it wont ever be. That is because Grand prime uses completely different SOC (Snapdragon 410) than our S3. (Exynos 4412) And probably also different proprietary chips like modem, GPS, wifi, audio dac, accelerometer, etc.
With Note 2 it was possible because they have similar internals (Same Exynos SOC) which is not the case here.
