So my 4yr old was playing spiderman today and he always asks for help, so of course I help. I notice he's on a part I haven't seen before. Usually he can play until the first boss then it wants you to purchase the full version, blah blah blah. So I can't figure how I have the full version now. I certainly didn't buy it. I checked gameloft site and said forgot password and it don't have an account under my email. You can also check your downloads using your phone number and no downloads exist.
Now I know you're probably going to laugh and say if I didn't pay wtf am I questioning something free? It's just the fact I have no clue how I have the full version and its bugging the **** out of me. LOL I know I'm crazy or ocd I guess.
Well if you get charged for it we will know what happened. Otherwise it's a gift from the 3d gods.

Charge would come from gameloft right? Do you pay by credit card or can you Bill the number? So i can be on the look out.

Yeah probably your kid. You can either bill the account or the card on file (usually). Keep an eye out for a random charge.
I bought Asphalt from them and gameloft charged my sprint account saw it on the next phone bill.
Actually...it's funny that you mention this because the same exact thing happened to a Co worker of mine. He was playing the trial version and somehow the game didn't stop him like it normally did after the first round, it let him keep playing and we were both laughing about it but it just let him play the full version somehow and he didn't buy the game , we both work for sprint he didn't see anything on his bill either for Gameloft...seems like it was a gift from the 3d God's afterall

Ok, so I just checked my bill and there is indeed a $4.99 charge from gameloft(little **** must have bought it). When I check gameloft site using my phone number it doesn’t show any downloads. It doesn’t recognize my email address either.
If I remove the game how will gameloft know I actually paid for it?

When I called sprint to have my phone activated, the lady asked if the evo 3d came with glasses. How could someone who works at sprint not know that the phone is glasses free?
got mine from radioshack. I was the first preorder and they know me well, I walked in and they grabbed a evo 3d without even asking. and I watched her break the seal on mine. She did the ESN swap that was it. she didnt set the phone up in any way. There were 4 other people getting the e3d when I was in there, They updated the phone for them, set up gmail, facebook, twitter and all sorts of stuff. I guess thats nice but... not for me. I didnt get charged the $18 upgrade fee either. (or a activation fee at that) my RS store treats me right.

LoL it cracks me up how people will spend hundreds of dollars on these smartphones, screen protectors, expensive cases, insurance over the course of a contract hundreds more. As soon as you ask them to pay $.99 to support a dev giving them an app to enjoy in this case(or better their experience with system apps)it is all of a sudden too much to ask.
THERE ARE THOUSANDS of free games and apps if you can no longer afford a few dollars every so often stick to those.

It costs developers time and money to produce an app. Why is it wrong for them to ask for a small fee? People don't want ads, but then complain when a developer wants to put out an ad free product at a nominal price. And what you were talking about in your previous post is piracy. I understand not having money. In that case if you don't have the money to buy something don't, but also don't think that makes stealing it ok.

Also, maybe i should specify that I don't care for the games they have on the app store. I would prefer PS1 games or if possible PSP games. Maybe that will change your minds, I got rid of robo defense right away and I dont want this fieldrunners game. I dont do angry birds or any of those, so sorry I wasn't clear, but I bought my fair share of PS games and I feel I can get them back on my phone for fun.

I admit I pirated a couple of apps, BUT I do eventually buy them to get the updates or if I use them more than a day or two.
Im not really keen on paying $5 for something ill only use once, or god forbid 16 minutes. A lot of apps I noticed are fighting piracy buy selling a key or license to unlock the full version. That's fine with me.

What part don't you guys get, I don't want the $.99 cent apps. I read they have older PS1, Nintendo etc games that have been converted to play on phones. I also seen it on the apps store to get the downloads for $4.99 but to me that seemed odd. The app wasn't for the games but for an app to DL the games. I thought I was clear I didn't want this app so for people to continue to say $.99 I don't get it. Also, if you think I care about flame then your wrong. I'm helpful to people, and mean to those who are arrogant, so if you think I'm being arrogant then it doesn't bother me at all if your hating on me. We all have opinions, I'm asking for an answer and the smartest on i got besides the .apk one, was about the viruses.

Same here...tried to get it for about 5 minutes and then realized it's not worth my time anymore. Came back here to ***** about Gameloft's crap site. Go to the site on your mobile device and it's not even optimized for mobile browsers. Stupid company.
I purchased Lets Golf2 so my kid would have a decent game to play when I need to keep her occupied lol. I went through the "enter your model" steps and paid via paypal ... transaction was successful. However when I click on the download button i get a message that some sai.sprintinstaller.com or something is currently unavailable. Did i do something wrong? Could this be because my phone is rooted and running a custom rom? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am running Viper Rom but have removed extra stuff that viperboy left in it ... i bet thats my problem.
Any idea how come when i go to buy a app for 99cents, I go to pay on Bill, it says it can't process it so I got to pay with my pay pal, and it says its charging me the full $4.99! If I continue with the buy will it change to 99cents?

Today at my local Sheetz I used Google Wallet to pay (second time using it there and at all.) When I tapped my phone to the receiver the cashier asked me if I had just hacked her machine. I replied no and said I just used my phone to checkout, however she still went and got her manager, telling him she thinks I did something weird. I had to explain to the manager that I was using Google Wallet. Luckily the manager knew what NFC and Google Wallet was but it got me wondering if anybody else out there has had any non-technical problems using Google Wallet.

I dont find it amusing, usually I find myself annoyed or upset depending on the actions taken by the cashier. Now I just say paypass and ask them to hit credit when they give me that dead eye confused stare

I've been told twice by differnt rinky dink gas stations that have paypass that they don't take my phone as payment. I have to have a card. I don't argue cause it's a gas station employee and I'm usually buying like $2-3 worth of stuff.
I've had a few people tell me they don't think it will work, although it usually does, but no ones freaked out on me so far. Just say you're using it as credit and do it before they realize what you're doing.
