This is the same as the original ROM + extras that I wrote out ;]
As far as I can see, the only non-standard thing you put there (by non standard I mean something that you can't simply flash through xRecovery) is this GB youtube... What's the point of this?

Be sure the name of folders is without space like name v4 he need to be namev4,rename it and will work

Instruction
+ it is important to backup your latest Rom
+ be carefull to select the recovery for the update.zip
+ in recovery select "install custom zip", or you can rename it first to "update.zip" then select "install update.zip from SD Card"
+ if you came from CM7, the update zip would not remove your data partition, its only removed cache and dalvik-cache.
+ if you upgrading from eclair or froyo, do "Factory reset (full wipe)"
+ Reboot. first boot will take a while and wait for a moment before using it.

I tried the flash player and it installed but wouldn't work with iPlayer and a couple of other sites. I'm using FroyoBread v021b so I'm guessing the framework is very similar and if it works with this it should work with that?
Well to me it seems that the entire ROM is just froyobread with some more themes
froyobread repackaged, dx kick off mate lol
Everyone's right mate.. this is froyobread v21 with the color patch and different theme/bootanimation.. things we can all add by ourselves.
I'm sorry if it sounds mean but it's pretty much pointless..
The only thing i can ask is WHY?
I'll just go through what I've done regarding this 'ROM'
1. Downloaded the 'ROM' & '100% working flash player'
2. Installed both of the above
3. Realized there is in fact NO real differences between this and Froyobread v021b other than a couple of themes installed, the fact that you had the brain power to install the over-clocking module (which requires no more effort than pushing it to "system/lib/modules" ) installed the color fix update, changed the boot animation and called it your own.
4. uninstalled the 'ROM' deleted it from my sd card and removed all references of it from my pc out of shame (yes i know i have nothing to show in the line of ROM development, but this is simply because i am still working on building my own from scratch)
5. re-installed Froyobread v021b
6. smiled.

Installation:
So this is a unique way of installing this ROM. You MUST have CWM or this will not work. Also you must be on .42 (preferably Chinese variant – I don’t know if it works on the UK one). NOTE: All user data will be wiped so remember to backup.
1. Unzip the archive into /mnt/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
2. After that, Boot into CWM.
3. Go into the Backup and Restore tab
4. Select restore
5. Restore my ROM onto your PLAY.
6. Reboot
7. Set up your new ROM and Enjoy!

Well I tried and it worked on other PLAYs so I thought it would work here. If you could post a link on a how-to build a flashable.zip of a ROM that would be great.

You could just flash a stock firmware via flashtool. I you have a CWM Kernel, you could make a backup of the apps (if you haven't already) and restore it on the stock firmware.
If you try please tell me if it works.

You can but u will face issues with sending files through Bluetooth

After flashing your rom, py phone got into a bootloop, the /data /system /data/media and /cache partitions were completely corrupted and I got a brick and couldn't restore backups. Luckly I'm experienced with this so I saved my phone.

Make sure you have downloaded the files correctly and have followed the instructions..
Other users have no problems with the rom

Evrerything is downloaded correctly and I followed the instructions. The problem started with the zips incorrectly fromating the /system partition and then they couldn't mount it.
It's all fine now. My phone is working.

Nice rom for me too. Works smoothly. I need more app in notification pannel. It just provide few.

I reflashed and it worked.
