I searched the market, Google and the forums. Does something like this exist?
I'm looking for fine-grained control over nice values and priorities with individual app processes that can factor in state (forground, background, etc).
Thanks for helping me out.
A bump. Might put in the work to write this if it doesn't exist.

Hi, as we all know androids notification is quite great. Apple however took this concept and in my opinion improved it. Many developer also seemd to like it and there are many apps on cydia that offers some customization.
What I'm looking for is an app or any way really that lets you customize the drop down window.
I'd like to b able to change wallpaper, change color of text, add widgets and info for fast updates.
I have spent many hours googling but I cant find anything like this. Is there any way to do this or does someone have thw ability to make souch an app?
I hope
I'm pretty sure access to the android notification can not be done through an app. Its like a core system process that probably can't be edited in real time. You would have to embed some sort of "notification drop down settings" into the OS.
But he is right Apple should not be ahead of us in any way..
Has no one left with common computer skills?
There's many topics on this here one just for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363528
Google and search button's seems to be extra these days
Good stuff I'll have to try. I don't know about everyone else about the search function, but I like to use my phone as a PC so the search does not work all that great through the android browser. Then filtering through the results.on this smaller than PC screen will give anyone a headache. Maybe the xda app is better idk..

Click to collapse
I used my standard international SGS2 found results NP..
Cool, we're gettimg there.
However im looking for more than just a theme. Widgets and the ability to add my own background. I wamt the functionality, not just the look
I'm wondering if any one knows of any nice apps to monitor system activity and stats? I've been toying around with a few, but haven't found anything worth mentioning as of yet. Its very important to me that it has a good widget so that I'm not continually opening the app, but can see everything at a quick glance. At the moment I'm using system panel, but no widget, and I need one, preferably with very detailed info. I really don't care for the native Asus task manager, its really inaccurate for some reason & it has about as good of an idea what's going on as my dog does! Lol, I Love my Prime....
Edit: A good task manager for tablets that also plays nice with ICS would also suffice, being that it shows CPU usage & actually detects all the cores?
Thank you to all for any input you may be able provide!
Try Elixir 2. Very detailed, albeit ugly, customizable widgets.
Cool tools is also pretty neat though not as detailed as what you are looking for.
So im looking for an app that has about the same functions as Chameleon skin
An app that will change profiles based on time/wifi/location or a switch.
it needs the ability to change visual elements and not only silent mode/plane mode ect.not that kind of simple stuff.
is there any app/launcher like that?
i do remember reading some where that an company was making an app that would give you different profiles(privet/home/work) based on gps/wifi ect.
it would let you change wallpaper/visible apps/ widgets ect.
but it was in closed beta and open for business industries and not jet public usage.
thanks in advance.
play store wasnt much of an help.
This isn't what you're looking for since this is for lockscreens, but is this similar to what you're searching for?

I love Tasker... and I bang heads with it also. Currently, it is the Scenes section.
I had the idea that it would just be easier to put up a WebView scene, or HTML Popup, and make the 'app' using HTML/JS/CSS.
But I want to hit the ground running, and use some open templates to get going quickly.
So, I'm looking for:
HTML templates/examples aimed at Android/mobile screens.
Useful Javascript, especially Tasker integration stuff.
CSS for theming the whole thang. (Plain, iPhone, Light ICS, Dark ICS, Custom, etc.)
For the previous, how 'bout a theme settings control panel? (colors, shapes, and so forth)
I figure it could make for some quick and awesome apps that auto-scale/change for any screen size, phone or tablet.
Duh.
OK... Does someone has a jQueryMobile-for-Tasker plug-in/extension/build?
Does anyone know what exactly you need to do to add per-app settings to Android? I'm talking about things like the permissions and the default apps in Settings->Apps & Notifications->[Application Name].
I'm not afraid to dig around in the code, just asking in case someone knows to reduce the workload.
