It's TODAY that I wish I had a SGS2.
If it does actually drop today or tomorrow, invariably it's gonna be for this phone first.. (or perhaps the Nexus S).
Either way, Google's NOT gonna let another device even have a lick of the ice cream before their flagship phones get it first.

I think Cupcake got leaked early back in the day.

Indeed. If anything gets it first, it'll be either the Nexus One or the Nexus S. I don't see any reason why someone would think the SGSII would get it first. Of course, we have had some blatant fanboys roaming around these boards.

No, I definitely did not. Although the Nexus Class by Samsung is the "official" Google phone, to think that Google would leak this to anything less than Samsung's most powerful device, would be silly. Right now, it's the SGS2, though the Nexus "prime" may be the winner.

well since no one has seen really IceCreamSandwhich and everything is speculation except the fact its some sort of merge between GB and HC. Its supposed to be a complete revamp and provide a whole new user experience according to the engadget interview with the google developer shown from ces i think it was.
all i know is that thanks to googles new mandate, that we will be guarenteed to see an official ICS update from HTC as its required by google now to support all hardware for Xmonths after release's.

AT&T, Sprint, HTC, Samsung, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Motorola were listed as part of the 'founding partners.' So yes, it was basically mandated, because anyone who cares about rooting/hacking/software updates etc. is using some combination of those carriers and OEMs.

This just makes me angry since they may show off the new features in June. That means it'll release in Q4 (when we're supposed to get ics! - my expectations) As the title states, take this with a grain of salt. Since this could be completely unreliable.
Bring on the update

We would have already seen documentation on VerizonWireless regarding the OTA. They do it for every Android update..and usually that's how we know it's coming. HTC has already announced that the Sensation line is getting ICS next month with the rest of us "later this year". I can't see how / why they would spring an update on us that as of the last leaks, weren't nearly ready for primetime.
"This Sunday you’ll hear something authentic." Hmmm. Something authentic from them will be saying later this year we will receive it
Wishful thinking. We'll probably see an RC leak before the official release.

The only source getting released is the kernel, we still need to crack their proprietary RIL which won't be getting released. The additional of a 4G radio has made it more complicated then the Incredible.
