Hello. I have a transformer and am a student.
I'm searching for an app that records audio and lets me jott notes at the same time. It seems that only the scribe app on the flyer lets me do that. Is there anyone that can post the apk? Thanks
ps.: the only other app that remotely does that is audionote, but only the ios version has pen input support.
I don't know if scribe will work for you out of the box. It doesn't work with the capacitive end of the stylus

The Flyer has a second digitizer in order to register the pen input. It won't work with any other devices.
Try mobielnoter mobilenoter.com

I didn't use it for anything, except for a couple of screenshots and doodling, so I thought $39.99 was too much to pay for an app to just take screenies.
I ripped the Supernotes app from the ASUS EEE, and I love using it with the stylus. All my notes are now taken with that app and the pen.
Yeah the Asus app is pretty much a HC rehash of Freenote that's been on the app market for a while. Some cute features, but I still prefer Evernote / HTC notes, one big reason being that they sync and share to the cloud and across phone, tab, desktop.
Are you using supenotes on HC or gingerbread? I tried supernote on my stock gingerbread, but it just force closes.

Supernote is a HC only app. Try Freenote from the android market, looks like the same thing and runs on all versions of ANdroid
Just curious... what feature do you feel lacking in the notes app?
I finally updated to honeycomb. I installed supernote but I noticed the application is a little glitchy. Anyone else who is using this notice the bar on the left side and parts of the screen on the right is cut off? Maybe its the apk I am using. Could someone upload a good working version if there is one?

I don't get it. What's wrong with using Evernote.

Supernotes is a Asus custom version of Freenotes. Its not meant to run on the Flyer, it runs on the Asus Transformer.
I personally much prefer the HTC Notes / Evernotes to Freenote, but if you want the original version, you can download Freenote from the Android marketplace and stop using the Asus application meant for the Transformer.
Others have stated it works. My question was for those who have used the app. I am aware of freenotes and have used it, but
still prefer supetnotes. They are not exactly the same. I do use the stock notes/evernotes apo, but I like options. I had a transformer and that's why I am partial to the app. I used a version ripped for the Xoom so maybe that's why it has a few glitches.

Has anyone found a free printing app compatible with the Nook Tablet? I tried Google Cloud Print but you need your computer on for it to work...which, to me, defeats the purpose of having the app since the NT is Wi-Fi only. I couldn't get GCP to work anyway.
Only other thing I found was PrinterShare Mobile Print, but you have to buy pages, etc.
Cool

That...that just doesn't help at all.
I've got an HP printer and the HP ePrint app worked fine with my rooted Nook Color. I've installed it on the Tablet and it will see my networked HP printer, but it won't print to it. If you have an HP printer, you might take a look at that and see if you can get it to work.
I probably should have noted I have an HP Deskjet 3050 wireless...not ePrint compatible, already tried that. =/

I'm very pleased with Cloud Print, but I use ProWOL app to wake my PC if it is sleeping prior to printing. I have a HP photosmart 7200. Wake On Lan can be tricky to set up, and but once the router is configured properly, it works great.
You need to enable adhoc on your Nook Tablet. There is a mod available here on xda. I used it on mine and was then able to see my hp printer.

I've done this, now how do I search for my printer?

I found Epsom iPrint for free at the market. It only works for wireless Epson printers. It won't work for your HP but for others looking at this thread may find it useful.

I found that Printer Share works great. Have it on my NT and Captivate.

I'll second Printer Share, it works great for me. I've also discovered that Google Cloud print works great also. I used it today while out of town to send a document to my printer at home.

Yes but don't you have to purchase pages?

No, at least I haven't since I purchased it a few weeks ago.
I tried freenote. It's pretty good. I can't set up different folders. Any other good ones with palm guard? Thanks.
I am using Asus Supernote.. it is okay, just a little too much lag while drawing.
There aren't a lot of apps to try. Bummer!

I like Handrite. Nice interface, easy to use, an overall good writing app.

I like freenote and Asus supernote. But I would love to find something that also records audio with the notes similar to the livescribe pen system.
Sent from my android touchpad.
Lecture notes
Antipaper Notes HD. Works great!
Is there an app I can download on my phone and a plug-in I can install?
Check the play store for the photoshop app. Unless you mean something different.
Or do you mean to connect your phone to your pc, and use the s-pen to replace the mouse?

This would drive me insane.

But using a tablet and pen is a very common way to edit with photoshop. The usual method is to use a Wacom or Bamboo tablet
On paper it sounds the same but in reality..... Photoshop is usually about precision. Imagine all the erroneous inputs from the capacitive screen.

That's an amazing point. The Wacom or Bamboo are one-touch, but the GN is multi-touch. This type of device really could be more trouble than its worth for Photshop work. Thanks for the insight.
Using the Note app with the S-Pen is important to me so I am wondering if there is any 4.3/4.4 ROM out there that will do this. Thanks.

You can download Bamboo from playstore. Worked good for me.

Check out these pens from Adonit. They eliminate your need for TouchWiz. They focus on iOS support, but they do work with Android. There are a number of YouTube videos you can review.

Papyrus is another option. I actually forgot this phone has an spen.

If you really want the Samsung apps, then the answer is no.
There are a ton of apps which work with the spen hardware just like on a stock rom, including palm rejection and spen button use etc, use the market and search.
Thanks guys, I will try all your suggestions out. I like the handwriting to text feature though.
There's nothing better than S-Notes but a few as good. Here are my top choices in order of best.
LectureNotes - though on KitKat, the writing lags a bit
Papyrus
Memo
Stylus Beta - Although not a note app, it allows you to use the S-Pen to input text
Write
Jotter
Bamboo Paper
OmniNote
