It depends on what u need and what your gonna be using the phone for. Do u need battery life? Performance? Both?

i need batery life much more than performance.....

Your best bet is honestly the stock 2.3.3 Rom. My battery is ridiculously long. And you.can flash some of the tweaks by zhidzhu

A superfast rom for x10 updated to 2.3.3

Hi everyone
Tonight i updated my fathers x10 from 2.1 to 2.3, i thought that it will be like my arc but its now slower than the 2.1, and i am tired of seeing my father with that phone, he didnt say anything but originally i am made him buy that phone back when it was a very decent phone,n not even one 2 x10! so i want any thing.... Anything that makes x10 superfast just like arc and i want everything to be fully working for him, a good rom with a good theme, i.mean not like a rom for teenagers
I checked CM7 and blue sparks rom my self, blue sparks is very fast and smooth, but i want an answer from you guys
I really can not express my thanks into words for a good answer

I'm using WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 | Theme Chooser, xLoud & Bravia by wolfbreak. He has been doing some excellent work! The only prob I have with his rom is that I can't share my internet connection via Ad Hoc wifi. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with his rom
Have you tried Wolfbreak's GB rom? It's pretty fast, reliable and has quite a number of features.

Confirm, Wolfbreak WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 rom best aviable right now. I think it cant get any better without custom Kernel
Definately WB rom. Now to Version 3.5 as of today! This dude keeps working on it lol. But this version is awesome, very fast, reliable and well I had it for a few hours only but it seems like the battery is well optimized too. Check yancm's post for link. Peace
wolf's ROM!
Thank you guys, you did give some extra usefull info

I second that. Cuz 2.1, 2.2 , sunk for xperia x10 but wolfbreak 2.3.3 work great. Just cant mediascape:*)

I use it as my daily rom but I must say I find Zdzihu's FreeX10 to be more reliable
I tried the z cm7, very fast smooth and looks great, but Im really into miui now and please no flack but tripnravers new miui is really amazing, super fast. Its a matter of taste but depends on if you like cm or miui, I havent tried trip cm7 to compare but yes the z one is blazing fast. Hard to say what the best is but theres some great stuff popping up for x10 lately.

Of course, I know it'll get even better thna what it is, it's Z so what else one can expect?
By the way not sure If you realized that I meant FreeX10 2.3.3 not 2.2
ps: you love the fact that the camera has EV settings don't you?

I'm currently using GB rom from wolfbreak. personally I find it fast and stable.
I´m with Z´s CM7. I was using Free X10 Gingerbread
Both are great ROMs, I´m having a "good" headache on choosing which one is the best for me.
WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.9.0 - for me, THE best !
CM7 Z-MOD V3....best rom out there atm.
CM7 Z-Mod seconded
Just wish the android camera could be skinned to look more appealing. I feel like im taking pictures for a funeral lol
Wolf V3.7 (waiting he finishes V 4) is the best for me Z V3, is great, but I like SE features, I never thought I could say that hehe, maybe because I have another android

I used to have wolf's, it was just as fast, but I prefer EWJET'S currently

Does anyone else get that?

cm7 zmod v3...
so freakin fast!
Newest version of EWJet (X10x EWJet Gingerbread V2.3.5ex with V5.4 Patch - as of 8/16/11) is blazing fast, no FC's...only thing with mine is that the widgets in overview bounce around too fast for my liking, not sure if it's the same for everyone.

The smoothest lagfree bugfree most battery efficient ROM !

Hey guys... m looking for a ROM that is extremely fast and with long battery life.. I don't play games at all.. but I will need multitasking abilities cz I use skype, facebook, whatsapp, viber etc are always on !
Could u also also pls suggest an appropriate kernel to go with it...
M sure many people are looking for something like this ... am a little new here so am sure many of you have already tried and tested many more Roms and kernel combinations than I have!
Jellybean is still too buggy as of now so I guess an ICS RoM is the best option. Also it would perfect if was NXT themed.
M I asking for too much hea

[Xperia S] What is the best ROM so far for your phone?

In terms of battery use, deep sleep and speed of reaction, RAM availability?
I used to have the Xcream, atm I'm on Dualcore 5.1, and I think I miss it...
What impression did you have?

I see, Jay, you think I'm a n00b...
I just wanted to start a discussion.
I think I know what I'm talking about mostly...
Just that since fxp130 cm10 there wasn't a ROM I really liked...
And fxp >130 don't have any camera abilities. At least 130 had no preview but it still took pictures.
That's why I posted this...
Stock rom with bloatware removed , xsspeed kernel

Well the xperia pureness rom by Sand7 is pretty fast and
battery conserving. Most of the time I get around 170 to 180 MB of free ram.
Also if you are interested you can try the JB PACman rom by AllenHu. Only the youtube bug and accelerometer bug exist. And it is pretty fast and it also conserves the battery. And I mosty have around 190 MB of free ram always.

Serenity and Octane are the fastest ICS Roms at this moment. Both are battery efficient, depending on what kernel you using
They are also more or less bugfree.
This is battery life on Serenity, Octane has around the same. This is with kernelpanic 1.25, governor is ondemand, since I find smartassv2 laggy. Think you can get even a bit more battery life with Rage or Mess, but you lose on performance with those.

I recommend to the Hasa MIUI Rom. I just flash Unlimited Boost, I got 37fps on Nenamart 2 @ 924mhz.
