Is there any setting or mod I can do to get this phone to accurately measure the battery level on my 3500 mah extended battery? It still works but I've been on 1% battery with a flashing light for 4 hours now? I've used battery calibration and manually wiped battery stats in romracer's CWM, but no dice. Any thoughts??

So ObsidIan rocks and already gives great battery life but I do see posts where people are claiming battery life lasting up to sixteen hours of moderate use with battery to spair. Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm at 16 hours right now with about 24% left to spare. Use has been moderate/heavy today.
Thanks, looks like when I did the wipe I didn't do it when it was at 100%, nor did I drain the battery all the way. I will have to do that. Going to get Onyx right now
Ok so flashed bionix v. And then fully drained fully charged then wiped out battery stat.
It says do it 3times tto get the best result. I already did once so on the 2nd ttime do I wipe out the battery stat again or just fully drain and fully charge again?

What I have read and did is after the the wipe is just use your phone till its drained. You already cleaned out the battery memory.

Fully discharging a LiIon battery is the WORST thing you can do to extend it's life. Doing it multiple times in a row deliberately is not a good idea.
The only thing that needs "calibrating" is the phones awareness of what a fully charged state is. Charge the phone fully, wipe battery stats, and get back to using your phone.

Thanks for the info and yea I know about that when I say fully drain I don't really fully drain. I plug in the charger at 1%
But once again thanks

This is completely correct. This is why the proper way to flash a rom is on a complete 100% charge. This way never have to fiddle with the battery stats.

To be further clear on how to keep LiIon batteries healthy, you should charge them at every opportunity. Naturally it's not always convenient to charge just because the battery is getting low, but if it is convenient you should be charging (if lengthening the lifespan of the battery is an important goal).
I just recently bought an extended battery for my fassy. As some of us know erasing battery stats in cwm "helps battery life". In reality its showing more accurate battery stats so that it doesnt drop several percent rapidly to compensate. My question is: does it really work like that and will switching between the stock 1500mah and extended battery 2400mah distort the battery reading? Or cause any other problems for that matter....m

I have the naztech 2400 battery. I have wiped my stats after a full charge. Doesn't seen to hurt anything. Mine. Appears to report correctly.

thank you so much

I cleared my battery stats and fully charged and used my device normally until it ran out. Did this a few times and noticed the 1st time it took a long time to go from 4% down to nothing.
After that it's been good.

The jumps are your fuel gauge resetting on reboot.
Battery stats app on our phones is known to have lots of annoying (but irrelevant) display bugs.
