Find any ROM with it built in, then extract the file /system/framework/android.policy.jar
EVO 3D CDMA Android Development
can i download your rom ?

Thanks for the quick reply. Can i just copy it into the file system or do i have to assemble it into a rom with a kitchen?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Copy it to /system/framework, but you HAVE to set permissions correctly (rw,r,r) with root explorer or use adb and chmod 0644 /system/framework/android.policy.jar

Not sure if that is sarcasm or not, but it's more mature to answer the questions instead of badger the person about posting in the wrong forum.

You put boot animations in /system/customize/resource and rename it Sprint_bootanimation.zip. but if you want boot sounds I would follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197748.

Use BootScoot then put your animations named bootanimation.zip in /data/local and your sound named android_audio.mp3 there and it will work. BootScoot will make the folder for you if they aren't there. You have to use it to enable sound too. You can also add your bootanimation.zip and android_audio.mp3 to BootScoot before you flash it.

If you're using root explorer, after you name it correctly and move it correctly, long press the zip and click permissions, set to RW_(user)R__(group)R__(others). If you'd rather use adb, once you get into your tools path in cmd, type adb shell, then enter, then type chmod 644 /system/customize/resource/Sprint_bootanimation.zip
it's the same for boot and down, also, bootscoot is pretty easy too.
Hi hope this is in the right section
I found a post in the GSII International forum that removes the lag that you experience when hitting the home button on our phones.
This is due to the voice command app. This fix removes the voice command double tap option, you will have to access it from the app drawer now but it removes the lag associated with the app launching when hitting the home button.
This has only been tested and confirmed working on Cog X2 Beta-3 and Cog X2 Beta-4. Does not work on odexed stock as well as Perception. YMMV
As usual flash at your own risk, I am not responsible for your phone or problems it has from this modification.
Here is a CWM package courtesy of jivy26 to make flashing a little easier!

Just download the file at the bottom of this post and push it to system/framework. This can be done via Root Explorer by copying and replacing the file in the system/framework folder or with an adb push.

This can also be done with adb push as follows:
adb push android.policy.jar system/framework
Yes it really makes a difference in my opinion. The lag was just ridiculous not to mention I would usually hit the home key a few times (very impatient hahaha) opening the voice command app which I never use.

Chances are good you are missing your keystr file. The fix has been discussed dozens of times. Please search for this. I should note you will need to be rooted to fix this. If you don't want to root, you will have to go back to gingerbread.

Switching from H to 4g icons is an easy mod. Every Rom has the 4g icon PNG in them inside systemui.apk. All you have to do is rename them. I been running 4g and 2g icons since I flashed the Rom. If you give me about an hour I can upload the icons I already have renamed.

2: open root explorer and go to system/app(make sure to press on r/w on the top corner)
