hello all,
Out of curiosity, I was thinking on how to make custom roms for SGS2.
Can anyone share some details on this? Also what are the technical prerequisites
This is purely for education purpose only
thank you

Hi,
I was just wondering if any of the developers for the HTC Legend would be able to tell me or point me to some guides on how to start developing and compiling ROM's for this device. I've got this phone for another year or so and so I thought it'd be fun and practical to learn how to create ROM's for this device
Thanks.
Hi Folks
I'm after a basic guide or method to create my own basic rom from files on the Asus site.
I've done some searching and found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661770 is this pretty much the same method ?
I'm happy flashing available custom roms but would love how to cook my own too.
Any help is much appreciated.
Hey guys looking for a new way to create a custom rom for any android device attempted the steps on one of the other threads shown on here but all the links are dead or do not populate correctly. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Oh.... btw im a complete beginner to making custom roms.
Hi there,
I am new to this site! I'm looking for someone to help me develop a custom Android ROM for a microSD card with an embedded Secure Element. I'm hoping that this person will also be familiar with the Linux Kernel, because I'm having trouble with the FUSE filesystem module. It would also be great if you are able to develop Android applications!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I would like to hire someone for a long term project. Thank you!!
